roses are beheaded
in her garden they do not bloom,
but violets are cherished,
their beauty are not doomed.for red was the color of blood,
and violet was the color of loyalty
red appeared to be boring and bland
which they assumed meant crueltybut roses are prettily red
and violets are prettily blue
no matter how beloved
they will always be
a different kind of hue
