strenuous feats
lonely beats
crafted by someone unseen
words of hate they do not mean
but it wasn't enough
living a short life
but chose to fill it with strife
held a poison knife
you wanted to go to the afterlife
but it wasn't enough
red lights, green lights
there was no sunlight
unknown battles you fight
prone to surrender, die you might
but it wasn't enough
good grades, passing the fall
it begins when one destroys all
nobody answers this unheard call
beaten on the knees you crawl
but it wasn't enough
now you alone stand
with the freedom of choice in hand
all despised in your life are banned
this world is full of demands
nothing will ever be enough
