Things were quiet in the Daycare. Moon hadn't spoken a word after carrying you to the security desk. He silently went to clean the Daycare. The most you heard from him was the jingling of his bells. You really wanted to help, but anytime you moved he would stare at you, it was unnerving to say the least. Thinking back to what has happened in the last hour and a half, you just noticed how Moon spoke. His voice box wasn't supposed to slur out words, did he need it repaired? Well obviously yes, but would he let you fix it was the real question.

"Uh, Moon?" Upon hearing your voice, he snapped his head towards you.

His eyes gazed deep into your soul. You stiffened, why was he so scary? Sure he almost killed you, but you could understand why. Still wasn't an excuse though.

"Yessssss, Janitorrr?" Moon slurred.

"Would you let me fix your voice box?" His eyes were still set on you.

"Whyyyyy?" His head tilted.

"Because your voice isn't supposed to sound like that, so I was wondering if I could repair it for you."

Moon finally peeled his eyes off of you, leaving you completely in the dark. His eyes were the only illumination you could see. Did you offend him? He clearly didn't trust you, so why did you think it was a good idea to try and repair him! That required some trust to do, trust you didn't have.

Suddenly, the sound of bells snapped you out of your thoughts. Red pupils illuminated your face. He was crouched over you like last time, except with more space and no claws.

"Sun said I shoulllld let you help me, don't think toooooo much about it..." He sat down in front of the desk you were sitting on.

"Oh okay, thank you." You'd have to say thank you to Sun later.

You hopped off the desk and straddled Moon's lap to reach his chest cavity better. His arm hooked around your waist to keep you from falling, but the action caused a faint warmth to flood your face. Ignoring the warmth, you tried to find the hidden button to open Moon's chest, but it was difficult to find anything in the dark. Too bad you left your phone in your locker, otherwise you would have some form of light. Moon's hands wrapped around your wrists similarly to Sun. Silently, he guided your hand to the button and around his chest cavity. You were surprised with how gentle he was handling your wrist, as if he hadn't attacked you earlier. Finding the voice box, you began your work with Moon's help.

It was probably around 30 minutes before you spoke up, "Soooo, why did you call me a 'little lamb' before?" The nickname had confused you before, but now you could properly ask.

You could feel Moon stiffen around you. An awkward silence filled the air, only the clicking of your tools filled the empty void.

"It wasss a nickname." Moon garbled out.

A nickname?

"Oh! Like Sun?" You totally forgot they could see through each other.

Moon nodded, turning away from your starstruck eyes.

"Well, I guess I have to make a name for you too then." You focused back on your work.

Moon quickly whipped his head back to you. "Realllllly, you'd do that for me? Even after what I did?" Were you really gonna treat him like a friend even after what he did?

"Well yeah, I understand why you attacked me. You were trying to protect yourself and Sun, right?" Moons eyes glossed over with admiration, you were trying to understand him, of all beings.

Nodding again, Moon opened his mouth to speak, "I wasss. The workerssss here are... Not the best." Moon held a scowl at the thought of the other employees, but that scowl quickly faded as soon as you spoke.
