It was Friday, your last day with your boys for the week. You felt bad for not being able to spend time with them more. Your cart squeaked against the tiles of Rockstar Road. With a sigh, you wished the employee locker room was closer to the entrance of the Plex. You had come in early, as promised, but having to walk around half the Plex to get changed and get the needed supplies for cleaning was a pain even if it was for your dear friends. Ah yes, friends. The same friends you want to kiss and hold close at night. Your face heated a bit. You thought back to your moment with Sun yesterday, he had been so close... Would he have kissed you if there was no interruption? You shook your head away from the romantic thoughts.
They are your friends, don't be weird.
As you were lost in the amalgamations of your head, your cart hit loudly against something.
"Yo, Cher!" Scratch that, someone.
You looked up at Monty who stood over your cart, his tail slightly swaying. Immediately upon recognizing him, you blurted out a waterfall of apologies. This caused him to snort, why were apologizing? You hadn't hurt him and it was obvious you were spacing out.
"Still, I'm sorry for not paying attention." You rubbed the back of your neck nervously.
"Don' worry so much about it! Here, lemme get outta your way." Monty stood next to you now.
You thanked him and continued on your way towards the Daycare. Monty however, had decided to come with you on your walk. Not that you minded much, it was nice to have company. Maybe Monty and the boys can become friends? You smiled at the thought of your friends becoming friends themselves.
You were getting lost in your thoughts again, until Monty piped up, "Soooo, Where'ya going, Cher?"
You snapped back to reality, a slight stammer in your voice. "Oh! Just the Daycare. I've been cleaning there for the week." Monty quirked up a scaly brow.
"An' the Attendant let's ya?"
"Hm? Oh yeah, Sun and Moon are my best friends! We clean together." You gleamed.
Monty's face held a look of surprise. He knew the Attendants to be more recluse than the other animatronics, so hearing that you were their best friend was... Strange.
"Really? That's surprising. I know Moon is an asshole, how do ya deal with him?" Monty had never been too fond of the Naptime Attendant, always getting on his case or playing a prank on him.
You turned your head to meet Monty's gaze. "He's not that mean to me?" Ignoring your first meeting, "I just treat him like any other friend." You returned your eyes to the tile in-front of you, the Daycare lobby was in sight.
As the two of you entered the lobby, Monty paused before the stairs leading down to the Daycare doors. He really didn't want to deal with Moon tonight...
A sigh snapped his attention away from his thoughts. "Hey, I know we just became friends, but do you think you could help me out here?" You gestured to your cleaning cart, a hand nervously rubbing your neck.
The bassist looked towards the Daycare, then back to the cart. With a shrug and a grunt of approval, he lifted up the entire cart and casually walked down the stairs. Your jaw slightly dropped, you knew how strong your new friends were, but wow...
"Hey! You coming, Cher?" Monty's voice shouted from below, his tail twitching from slight annoyance. Oddly enough, his shout was much quieter than normal.
His voice instantly grabbed back your attention. "Ah, right! Coming, Sorry."
Your legs bolted down the stairs, tripping a couple of times, but never actually falling. You could hear Monty silently snicker at the display, his tail now lightly swaying. Finally reaching the doors, you prepared to open them. You had your hand placed on the hardwood, ready to push them open.
