Donald and Daisy, now in their normal clothes, were sailing away from those sea monster pirates as fast as they could in their speedboat.
Donald looked behind. He was very sad to see the pirates still had his boat, his home, but he was decided that he was more glad that he and his girlfriend were safe and able to get away from them.
"Are you sure that you have absolutely no idea about those creatures back there, Donald?" Daisy asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure," Donald replied.
"Never met them on your adventures with your Uncle Scrooge or your nephews or friends?"
"I swear, Daisy, I've never even met them at all in my life, let alone know who their leader is or why they want my nephews."
SPLASH!
While Donald tried to retain control of the speedboat after getting splashed by the cannonball blast, Daisy turned around to see some of the sea monsters in speedboats coming after them and they were firing cannonballs at them, including the one they were greeted with.
"Donald, they're after us!" she reported.
"They're not the same ones on my boat," Donald said. "Where did they come from?"
"Does that really matter?" Daisy cried. "We need to lose them!"
"Hold on!" Then Donald pushed the speed throttle down and the boat went at the fastest speed it could go on, dodging the cannonballs being fired by the sea monster pirates.
"Are we losing them, Daisy?" Donald asked, as the speedboat continued to go as fast it could. He checked how much fuel it had; there wasn't much left to get to land let alone continue to escape these sea monster pirates and the cannonballs they were firing at the ducks.
While holding onto the boat as much as she could and trying her hardest not to let her seasickness get the better of her, Daisy looked behind. "No, Donald. We're not losing them. In fact, they're catching up to us!"
"How?" Donald got his answer when he saw the sea monster pirates' speedboats caught up to them. He saw that they were catching up to them because of the boosters that space rockets used at the back of their speedboats.
"Stop right now and surrender or we'll blast you!" one of the sea monsters yelled.
"What shall we do, Donald?" Daisy asked.
Donald looked around and could see nothing except some sharp rocks ahead. "I have an idea. Hold on tight."
The ducks approached the sharp rocks. Donald checked that the sea monster pirates were still following beside him, which they were and that was what he wanted to do. He knew he had only one shot of this plan of his, so he had to make everything count.
"Come on!" yelled a sea monster pirate. "Don't make us waste any more cannonballs than we need to!"
Donald just chuckled. When he saw how close both he and the pirates were to the rocks ahead, he decided the time was now. After checking that the sea monster pirate boats were in line with him, he braked his speedboat. The sea monster pirates continued to speed together.
Donald's plan worked. His plan to confuse the sea monster pirates so they wouldn't look where they were going and crash their speedboats into the rocks worked. He and Daisy celebrated their success of losing the sea monsters.
"Look, Daisy!" Donald cried. "They're sea monsters who can't even swim!" He laughed as he saw the sea monsters stuck on the rocks and yelling for help.
"Sorry to ruin your feeling good moment, Donald," Daisy said, "but more are coming behind us."
Donald turned to see that Daisy was right. There were more speedboats full of the sea monster pirates – there were seven this time instead of three – and they were speeding towards them.
Donald checked the fuel. Their speedboat was nearly empty. He couldn't see anywhere else to go and he couldn't think of anything else to do except prepare to fight these sea monsters with his own hands. He put up his fists. "Come on, you bunch of fish-breath, stinky, slimy –"
He was interrupted by Daisy who grabbed him.
"Donald, save your energy! I've found a way to lose them!"
"Where?"
Daisy answered by pointing. All Donald could see was a cave on its own. He didn't have time to ask her why she thought that would help or point out about the little fuel their speedboat had because the cannonballs firing by the sea monster pirates made him decide to just listen to her.
Donald took the speedboat inside the cave. It was pitch dark and the only light that could be found was the entrance.
"What now, Daisy?"
"Let me take over," Daisy said.
As he moved out of the way to let Daisy do what she needed to do, Donald still hoped and prayed that Daisy's idea would work.
Daisy moved the speedboat to the dark rocks next to the entrance.
"Now, be quiet," she said to Donald.
The ducks kept quiet as they saw all seven speedboats of sea monster pirates zoomed in. Donald was a bit confused about what was happening, but he stayed quiet for the sake of his and Daisy's. After a minute of the pirates entering the total darkness, the ducks heard nothing but crashes, calling for the ducks, bumping into walls, hitting each other and one demanding why none of them thought to bring torches.
Certain that the pirates were busy messing around in the dark cave, Daisy quietly moved the boat out of the cave.
Donald hugged Daisy. "That was amazing, Daisy! How did you do it?"
"You learn things like this when you work for Emma Glamour," she said modestly.
"Well, it all paid off because we lost them now."
Then something pinned both him and Daisy. They saw it was a full fishing net that trapped them. And it was a really stinky one as well.
"I don't think we have," Daisy said, as they were lifted up. They tried to break free from the net, but they couldn't.
