Chapter 20:Feelings

chara pov:

I jumped slightly as I heard footsteps,my eyes adjusted as I was still in the catacombs...I must've fallen asleep...but who's

frisk:"chara?"

chara:"ahhh!"

I held my chest panting heavily what was she doing here and why?

chara:"what do you want?"

frisk:"y/n is really worried about you I knew you'd run here so I came to find you"

I rolled my eyes and got up

chara:"well you can tell him I am fine now leave me be I shall return when I'm ready"

frisk:"I will...but...why did you run?"

chara:"...I do not understand what you mean"

frisk:"you looked like you were angry and then you ran what caused it?"

chara:"...its none of your concern"

chara said getting more and more annoyed with her sister as she tried to leave but what frisk said next stopped her in her tracks

frisk:"it's because we started arguing and he yelled at us isn't it?"

chara grit her teeth and faced frisk with a calm yet menacing demeanor

chara:"you know what you did"

frisk:"what did I do?"

chara:"dont act like a fool with me i can see it in your eyes everytime you go near him!...frisk you have fallen for him and now your getting in my way"

frisk blushed as she had to admit that there was some truth behind what chara just said

frisk:"m..maybe...b..but I'd never try to get in your way for anything!...d..do you like y/n to?"

chara:"isnt it obvious!?...I'm the one who's always worried when he's gone for to long,I'm the one who's always keeping track of him! I'm the one he tells his secrets to and I should be the one he falls for,not you!"

she shouted before covering her mouth her face turning bright red

frisk:"I..."

chara:"s..shut up!...and not a word about this to anyone!"

frisk:"y..you like him?"

chara:"I said to shut up!"

chara yelled in embarrassment her face now capable of being compared with a strawberry,frisk giggled a bit as chara felt threatened bu her laughter

chara:"what's so funny!"

frisk:"you face is so red because you said you liked y/n"

she said giggling chara puffed her cheeks and glared at frisk

chara:"oh yeah? well...you basically admitted to liking him to!"

now it was frisk's turn to blush bright red as she hid her face

frisk:"n..no!"

chara:"ugh! its sickening that you deny it if that's how you want to act then let me have him to myself"

frisk:"no!"

chara:"and why is that?"

frisk:"b..because..."

chara:"admit it frisk! you cant leave him to be with me because you love him! and it makes you sick that he's always with me doesn't it!?"

frisk:"..."

she was speechless it was true the few times frisk had gotten to know you as a person had made her develop feelings towards you but she only kept denying that she was feeling this way until now

chara:"well frisk?"

frisk:"I...you...you're right..."

chara:"what?"

frisk:"your right...I've bearly had any interactions with him but everytime he's left me more intrigued with him and your right...I do hate that you keep him all to yourself it's not fair"

both looked at eachother for a moment before taken a deep breath frisk sat down near the water and chara sat with her

chara:"I cant believe I got myself attached"

frisk:"yeah..."

chara:"now I have to deal with you trying to take him from me"

frisk:"you haven't noticed have you?"

chara:"noticed what?"

frisk:"...nothing..."

chara:"frisk"

frisk:"I said its nothing"

chara:"frisk!"

frisk:"its not my place to say!!"

chara huffed as frisk insisted that what she had to say wasn't important,silence feel upon both girls as they avoided looking at eachother at the moment.

*short timeskip later*

the two sister were walking back to the castle as it was getting late,the two still didn't speak to eacgtoehr until chara stopped and faced frisk

chara:"frisk...I have a proposal"

frisk:"a proposal?"

chara:"yes...seeing as you will not let me have what I want without a fight how ajout we make a game out of it?"

frisk:"a game?...what kind of game?"

chara:"simple only one rule"

frisk:"wich is?"

chara:"win his heart"

frisk blushed a little as she thought about it a little more before gaining a more determined look

frisk:"so this game is to see who he chooses and you will play fair?"

chara:"I wouldn't dream of cheeting you dear sister...so do you accept?"

frisk:"yes"

chara:"then it is settled...whoever he proclaims his feelings to first wins and the other cant do anything about it"

frisk:"deal!"

chara smiled and so did frisk

chara:"then may the best sister win"

frisk:"yes I shall!"

chara:"hmm we'll see"

with that the two continued on their path to return home both of them holding a very determined look on their faces.
