Chapter 26:A special moment

Your pov:

Hours have passed since our little stunt,I laid awake throughout the night mainly because I was worried for what might happen next,I lost track of the time but I doubt so much of it had passed since we got here.
I was about to get up but upon reaching the door it slowly began to open on it's own,I took a step back and and made a small ice shard just in case only to see frisk stumbling in as quietly as possible,due to the darkness of the room she didnt seem my right ther infront of her so when I spoke up she svreamd forcing me to cover her mouth.

"Calm down,its just me"

She nodded and I moved my hand away,I looked at her she seemed like she was crying a bit I could tell due to the bags under her eyes and the fact that she too looks a bit sleep deprived

"Something wrong?"

Frisk:"n-no...just coming to...check on you?"

She said nervously

"Check on me?"

I asked smiling a bit as she did that cute thing she always does fiddling with her fingers while looking anywhere but at me

"Frisk,I dont need you to check on me but thank you"

Frisk:"o-ofcourse!...umm...w-what are you d-doing up so early?"

"Heh,well I can ask you the same thing"

She blushed more as she quickly started to play with her golden locks to help ease her nerves

(I swear she's to adorable to be Chara's sister)

I thought as it made me chuckle to myself at wich she spoke up

Frisk:"I uhh,I had a nightmare...c-can I-"

"You want to stay with me?...possibly talk about it?"

Blushing she nodded vigorously I chuckled and pulled close

"No need to be so shy,I'm always willing to help those in need so let's talk"

Dispite her face being comparable to the rest ruby she snimed at me as I walked her to the bed and we both sat down to talk.

"So,what bothered you?"

I asked her as she tilted her head down she looked scared and hesitant to speak wich got me curious,I was to assume the nightmare was about me but before I could ask she spoke up

Frisk:"is this the best idea?"

"Running away?"

She nods

Frisk:"what of they find us?"

"Impossible,I made sure that this place dosent exist to anyone but us"

Frisk:"...b-but what if....I dont want to see you or them get hurt b-beacuse of us"

She started to tear up,I looked at her as she fought them back only offering open arms wich she quickly leaped into holding me tightly.
I now understood her fear she was worried that being here would endanger me and the others and tho jt wasnt a pretty thought if it came true by law we would be murdered....I looked down at frisl who's tears stained my clothes her body shaking as her fears got the best of her I could only smile at the princess as I cupped her cheeks and brushed a bit of her hair out of the way

"Now,this ain't the princess I taught"

Frisk:"w-what?"

"The princess I know is brave and kind and dispite bad things she looks on the bright side of them that's my princess"

Frisk:"y-your princess?"

I smiled a gently kissed her forehead I wasnt sure why but it seems like it'd help someway,she blsujed wich got me to smile more

"There she is,blushing as always"

I said as I hugged her closer

"Dont worry your prery golden head about anything nothing bad will happen as long as I'm here ok?"

Frisk:"b-but-"

"No buts princess,you and chara are safe here and I will protect all of you until my last breath so dont worry nothing bad will happen"

She smiled and hugged me back

Frisk:"thank you!"

She said as her worries and fears started to slowly fade away,I stayed in that one spot with her until I noticed she fell asleep on top of me making it rather uncomfortable to do anything as I couldn't really move,sighing I sat back and just let it happen she'll wake up eventually and all will be...

Chara:"y/n?"

(Welp...life was enjoyable)

I thought as I saw chara standing by the door way rubbing her eyes she looked tired and continued to walking in closing it behind her as she got closer

"H-hello dear!"

I said as she could very obviously see frisk on me sleeping,despite it not being anything inappropriate to one who hadn't witness before she fell asleep it would most certainly look that way.

Chara:"...why is she here?"

"She had a nightmare and wanted help so she came to me"

She stood there for a moment and then looked directly at frisk

Chara:"she's in my spot"

"....what?"

Chara:"the only one who should be on top of you is me,after all I am in charge of this relationship"

"Who you callin a bot-"

I stop myself and readjust my tone only getting a much ratified smile from her

"Princess,you have just referred to me as a lesser in wich I am not"

Chara:"are you sure?~"

"I can assure you that,personally"

She smiles and then turns to frisk again

Chara:"wake up,I have a fool to educate"

She said poking her,I stopped her from doing so to wich she looks at me in fake surprise

Chara:"oh,I see you prefer her in that spot more than me"

"No,I'd just prefer it if you let her rest,she's already worring away in that head of hers"

She smiled again and walked to the other side of the bed getting on abs laying next to me

Chara:"be lucky you are graced by two princesses"

"Nah,I think it's just one"

She smiles aas she hugged my left arm and cuddled into it

Chara:"I dont like to share,but only this once"

She said to me wich was a bit co fuing but I let it be as I wasnt about to complain when she isnt upset or jumping to conclusions,with the two in bed and sleeping I sat back and slowly drifted off myself.

(Sleep well princesses....as long as I'm here nothing bad will happen to you or the other children....I'll make sure of it)
