Found him again

Harry looked behind him, a man wearing black skinny jeans and a white shirt this time. He recognized those blue eyes, too.

He smiled and watched as the guy sat next to him, crossing his legs as he played with the grass around.

"Sorry if you remember last night, wasn't the best time to reach out for me", he commented looking down at the green grass. "It's alright..." Harry started but he was interrupted by the blue eyed boy. "Actually, it was a good time to reach out for me. I'm relieved I found you, do you go here?", he asked pointing to the university behind them. "No".

The guy nodded with a little bit of disappointment but Harry didn't push it. "Anyway, just wanted to thank you for er- that note I guess", Harry nodded with a smile but the guy wasn't looking at him. "It's kind of confusing how you just came up to me. I usually go unnoticed".

Harry furrowed his brows, a guy like him goes unnoticed in a crowd? Harry can still remember his blue eyes without having to look at him. The guy went quiet and Harry looked over to him noticing his lips in a thin line. "Sorry, I probably ruined your peaceful evening", he apologized getting up and standing awkwardly.

"Hey you didn't", Harry started straightening his back, "I've got more than enough time if you wanna hang out". The guy looked down at him with a smile now, "Really?". Harry nodded and stood up grabbing his bag at the  same time. "Yeah, if you'd like that".

The guy didn't respond as he walked next to Harry, they didn't know where to go though. Harry stopped in front of the lake, resting his arms over the railing that prevented them from going anywhere further. The guy did the same.

"I'm Harry, just noticed we never introduced ourselves", he saw the blue eyed boy look at him from the corner of his eyes. "Louis".

"So Louis, would I usually run into you late at night or are you an early bird?", Harry questioned with amusement in his voice. He heard Louis laugh from beside him, he smiled at that. "Maybe. I like leaving the flat late at night, there's less people to run into".

"You're not in uni then?", Harry asked recalling when Louis asked if he went to that university. "I am, but other than that I don't go out in the mornings". Harry nodded, "That's a bummer, I rarely go out at night".

Louis looked at him, Harry liked that there was a small smile plastered on his face. "So what were you doing walking late at night yesterday?", Harry chuckled before responding. "I didn't feel like going home yet".

The sunset was beginning to set, looking beautiful above the lake. Louis looked golden, staring at the sun but it wasn't harsh to the eyes.

"You're really interesting", Louis spoke up. Harry hummed not understanding but also not feeling like speaking up. "I mean, you just walk up to a stranger and give them a note". Louis laughed, "I couldn't stop thinking about it all night".

His voice was quiet and Harry had to look over to him again. He was looking down at the lake his lips back into a thin line. "It's a good thing I assume?", Harry asked and he saw Louis nod. "Yeah, thank you".

Harry smiled accepting the second gratitude from the boy. "Why did you do it?", he asked again. Harry sighed mimicking Louis as he looked down at the lake. "Growing up I never had someone to tell me nice things while I struggled so now that I'm more mature, I don't want others to go through that too. I'm not saying that I think you're struggling, I don't know that, don't take it the wrong way. But still, I enjoy writing nice things and giving them to strangers. It makes me feel better".

Louis had a smile the whole time as Harry ranted. He was aware he spoke too slow compared to others but Louis never interrupted or looked away showing boredom.

"That's beautiful Harry", he commented.

"And don't worry, I'm not taking it the wrong way. I will admit now, I was having a rough night and that note helped me forget about it, well not forget about it but at least get my mind away from it for a little. Who knows what would of happened if I never got distracted from my loud mind".

Harry chuckled being a little too curious about what bothered the boy but then again, they are strangers and Harry isn't one to push serious topics out of someone.

"Don't thank me again", Harry said quickly which surprised himself as Louis opened his mouth and closed it with a big smile. "Already reading me like an open book huh?".

Harry got a text message which vibrated inside his pocket, "I'm heading off now, hopefully catch an early sleep", Louis spoke leaning away from the railing. The sun was almost gone, the sky being a weird shade of blue, almost dark but still light.

"Okay, I'll see you around then Louis", Harry spoke with a smile, "Yeah".
