Here I am, back with another chapter. Managed to break away from Destiny 2 long enough to crank this one out. On the plus side, I got platinum ranking for the week and I finally got the Loreley Splendor helm to drop! Not really the best stats but hey, I finally have it! Too bad it's getting nerfed to shit next season🙃 oh well... At least I'll get to enjoy it for like a week. New season coming soon! Anyway, let's get into this one...
"Wow girls! The 4 of you managed to score a 72!
...when I combine all 4 of your scores, that is..."
"...RUN FOR IT!"
Mayhem broke out as Fuutarou watched helplessly as quintuplets one through four sprinted up the stairs and locked themselves in their rooms.
Fuutarou: "...I can't believe this...the four of them...They're potential flunkers! I mean really, I gave them a minimum passing score threshold of 50 and they couldn't even reach THAT! The highest was Miku with a 32 and Yotsuba got an 8 for crying out loud!!!"
Y/N, who was currently working with Itsuki, who had stayed downstairs since due to her commitment to Y/N rather than Fuutaro, chuckled at his friend's expense. "Well, there is a BIT of a bright side..."
Fuutarou looked at him with his eyes full fake, comical tears and devoid of any life whatsoever. "What bright side...?
"If you combine the score Stars got on her exam, then they got an even hundred!" He said with a big goofy smile on his face.
What was left of Fuutarou's soul was finally put out of it's misery. "...I'm going home...thanks for nothing, jerk..."
A tick appeared on Y/N's head. He turned to his student. "Hey Stars... you mind if I step away for a quick moment?"
"Oh...um...okay?"
The young man then walked up to Fuutarou and grabbed him buy the shirt collar and then proceeded to drag him outside into the hallway. "Come child, you and I are going to have a quick discussion."
Fuutarou: "Hey! Quit it! Let me go!"
Y/N finally managed to get him out of the apartment and tossed him into the hallway. "What the hell is your problem?"
"ME?! You're the one who just grabbed and dragged me into the goddamn hallway for no damn reason!"
The tick on Y/N's head grew. "NO DAMN REASON? Bro, if you recall, YOU are the reason this is so difficult in the first place. Who calls a girl they literally JUST met "fat"?! And after she WANTED you to be her tutor! And not only that, you LITERALLY asked me just yesterday to help you build a bridge a peace between these girls and I did just that with Stars! I got her to sit and talk with you last night and I even talked to her again this morning as I was walking her to class. I had you set up for success, man! And then you had to go and insult her YET AGAIN and ruin everything! Geez...for being the guy with the best grades in the entire school, you're an absolute dumbass! You're lucky that I care about you and your family enough that I took Stars off your hands for you, FREE OF CHARGE. Not only that, I even made sure that YOU are still being compensated fairly. This is all because you couldn't stop being YOU for 2 damn seconds! So don't you DARE act like I'm just standing by like some background character!"
Fuutarou was speechless. He had absolutely no response to that because it was true. "I...I'm sorry...I'm just frustrated. I don't know what to do...I'm feel like I'm way in over my head here...I truly do appreciate you helping me out by taking charge of Itsuki's tutoring but her four other sisters with grades just as bad, if not, worse than hers? That's beyond crazy! And to make matters worse, everyone except Itsuki seems to absolutely hate studying! And Itsuki hates ME! Bro...you know I don't ever really ask you for anything but......please....PLEASE help me tutor them! I know you have your extracurricular activities you need to worry about it but I'm beyond desperate here! I'll do your homework for you! Hell, I'll even give you a cut of my payment!" He then got down on his knees and bowed to his friend. "Please..."
