My hand brushed gently through Yoongi's hair, his soft snores blowing against my neck. I smiled softly, planting a kiss against his forehead as I watched the shadows of the night dance across my bedroom wall.
It felt like a long time since I had held Yoongi like this, just me and him, away from prying eyes. With everything going on, I couldn't help but wonder if I had neglected him. Of course I did, what am I thinking? I couldn't even talk to him normally anymore.
His arm tightened around my waist, his silent way of reassuring me; as well as the indication that he was ,indeed, awake.
" You can go back to sleep, I didn't mean to wake you." His eyes flickered open, tongue poking out between his primed lips as he turned to look up at me.
" I'm awake now, you wanna tell me what's up?" His blunt question made me chuckle, as he shifted himself against the headboard, taking my hand in his.
My gaze flickered to the ceiling. It was plain and boring, just like it always had been. Yoongi nudged my side, heaving a sigh.
" There's nothing interesting about the roof you've slept under for most of your life." He nudged me with his head this time, my eyes barely catching his as he rested himself in the crook of my neck.
" Was it a good idea?" I glanced at my hands, ignoring the withdrawn span of hot breath against my skin.
" In all my years of knowing you, I've never known you have one good idea." His words weren't harsh, instead more playful and sultry. I pressed a smile on my lips. " But." He continued, tone stern like I was about to get scolded. " Giving them a home is probably the best idea you've had since the tea house incident."
I chuckled, finally finding the guts to look at him. He was smiling back, eyes glossed like caught up in a daydream. Min Yoongi. I thought. What a wonder you are.
" If it wasn't for you then that business would be up and running." I gently pushed him away, a scowl evident on his face as he clawed at the blanket, trying to stay on the safety of the mattress.
" If it wasn't for you being so perfect then I wouldn't of had to deck the guy." He pushed me back, his face stoic as I pulled in the safety of the blanket to keep me steady.
" I'm not perfect, far from it actually." I poked my tongue out, using my left leg to kick him off the bed. Yoongi's eyes widened, arms splattering through the air, fingers curling round my jacket as he fell to the floor, pulling me along, with a hefty thump.
I winced slightly, pushing off his chest to sit around his waist, and rubbed at my temples. That was one hell of a whiplash. The warmth of Yoongi's fingers startled me as he tugged at my wrists, sitting up slightly, so we were face to face.
He looked puzzled, eyebrows crossed and lips tight as though he was constipated - sorry, more like he was trying to restrain himself. I cocked my head slightly, watching his eyes flicker over my face. He was the one that was perfect.
I hadn't realised his hand had left my wrist until he cupped my face, thumb gently caressing my cheek. I could feel the tips of my ears warm furiously at the contact.
" You're perfect to me." I blinked, eyes darting to anywhere other than his face. By far this was the most intimate we have probably ever been with each other. Was that why I was so nervous? " I don't know what I would do without you."
" You'd probably blow up the microwave again." I could feel my voice waver. Yoongi chuckled at that, his hand falling softly from my cheek to land just in my lap.
Instinctively, my hand slithered into his, clinging it softly, like a baby to her parent. I could feel him flinch, his hand stiffening, probably due to the contrast in heat. I was sweating, profusely.
" Fuck it." He startled me, my head turning to look up at him, just as his spare hand placed itself behind my head pushing me into him.
His lips meant mine, more softly that I had expected considering i had practically head butted him. His eyes were closed, the blush on his cheek bones more obvious up close. Then, more quickly than it had started, he pulled away, his gaze focusing anywhere in the room but on me.
" I know I shouldn't have done that, but I -" his sheepish remark was cut of as I leaned forward, placing a chastise kiss at the corner of his mouth.
He flushed, more evidently in the dark room." Fuck it." I smiled, quoting his exact words as I took my own turn. My lips pressed against his, they were gently upturning, a deep rumble through his chest as a pleasant sign of happiness.
I had knew it for years, that I had loved Min Yoongi. He was my other half. The writer of my story. My cliche. I fell in love with a hybrid. My kitten.
My hand grazed his chest, gently pushing him back to the ground as he licked my bottom lip, requesting access to explore. I hummed slightly, ruffling the spot between his ears as I bit on his bottom lip gently.
He growled, his tongue forcefully making its way through, as his hands rested gently on my hips, almost, pulling me closer. I could tell in this one movement the restraint he was holding back, the passion growing in each moment, and his animalistic instincts exploiting the situation.
I didn't care.
" Dinners ready!" The door slammed open, startling both of us, I assume, as Yoongi's canine bit down on my lip. We swiftly untangled ourselves and I shaded my eyes with my hair, licking at my bloodied lip. " Ah, so this is where all the groaning was coming from."
I could feel my entire body turn crimson, even as Yoongi laughed softly, fidgeting around by my side. I had forgotten that hybrids had sensitive hearing.
" Get outta here kid!" The whooshing of air forced my head to turn to the door as a pillow was sent forcefully at Taehyung head. The young boy just giggled, playfully kissing the air as he batted the pillow aside.
" I won't leave until I get something, you guys already made me loose a bet." Taehyung pouted, picking up the pillow that rested on the ground and hugging it tightly to his chest.
I frowned at that. This was the ninth time this week that the boys had bet on something ridiculous and unnecessary.
" What do you want?" Yoongi seemed more agitated than when Taehyung interrupted. If I wasn't to embarrassed about being caught I too would have questioned the young hybrid.
" I want a kiss from Noona." There it went. The animated blood from my nose, as I fell lifelessly against my bed. What was life? What is its purpose? Why me?
" No" Yoongi responded, sternly at that as he pulled at my hand. My body following limply along. Is it too late now to reincarnate into a rock?
" Suit yourself!" Taehyung smirk. That one he always uses when he pranks Jimin or SeokJin. I sighed, watching the pillow in his hand come straight towards me, hitting me square in the face as he ran down the hallway.
" Thanks for the shield mangy cat." I groaned, rubbing at my nose as I thrusted the pillow into his chest. Yoongi snorted, throwing the pillow back into the bed, before climbing slowly to his knees.
" Just because I love you doesn't mean I'm going to sacrifice myself for you." He brushed his knees of invisible dust, before holding out his hand. I stared blankly at his outstretched limb, processing his words before gazing up at him.
" You love me huh?" I smirked, taking his hand in my own, and hoisting myself to my feet. Yoongi flushed, turning his head away, seemingly taking in his own emotions. " I love you too."
