The next day everything seemed to have gone all according to plan. When Miss Sarutobi dropped me home Kiba didn't speak a word to me, he wasn't really behaving the way he normally did with, but we were also supposed to be acting friendly at the same time.

Make that make sense.

I figured it must've been what I had said about him, but I couldn't take it back. It was the truth after all.

I guess I just felt bad, just a little. He still kind of deserved it.

Regardless of that, everything was basically as it should be. My family didn't receive a call from Kurenai which means neither did Kiba's and we were both in the clearing. I felt like we were doing something wrong, but I guess this is the least we could do for each other.

All I understand is that he'll be leaving me alone after it all.

"Have a good day today, Naruto." Dad wished as I exited the vehicle.

"I'll try too. I have a feeling today will be a great day." I smiled.

"Hm? How so, you have plans today?" Naruko asked.

"How can he have plans without any-"

"Menma." They all shushed him in unison to my amusement.

"Haha it's fine. Sometimes you don't need friends to have a great day Menma. Just a great peace of mind."

"Pfft Boo!" Menma began once more, that is before Mom grabbed him by the mouth.

"One more word and I'll tape it shut, understood?" She asked before letting go after he showed he agreed.

Shortly after we exchanged our goodbyes and they drove off. I took a deep breath thinking about how great this day was going to be and actually looked forward to the peace I was going to start getting from now on.

But first I had to start my school days just right. With what you might ask.

I danced my way onto the compound with a bright smile that immediately fell dim as Sasuke wasn't where he was supposed to be, but rather Kiba was there instead. He glanced up at me as he was scrolling through his phone and diverted my eyes and planned to pretend I didn't see him.

Just as I was about to walk past him, he stopped me by holding the door.

"Good morning to you as well." He said as he put his phone away.

"I didn't greet you."

"I noticed."

"So you lack shame as well? Not really surprised."

"..."

Was that really necessary. Even I had to ask myself, but I couldn't help it, I hated him so much.

Even if he said he doesn't hate me too doesn't mean I should believe him.

"Anyway, what do you want?" I asked as I was in hurry after all.

"Alright, just reminding you of our agreement and making sure you're following up with it."

"Follow up with it?"

"Yeah there's rules to this thing, right? So we can't just pretend, we have to make it believable. So we have to be seen being friends not just by the faculty, but also by everyone."
