Sakura had her parents come pick us up, we hadn't seen Sasuke at all, which was good as I had told her he had an emergency and had to leave early.

On the way home though, I decided that I wanted to go to Kiba's house. It was risky, but I didn't want to leave him home alone, that's if he even made it home after storming off.

He was just so upset last time. I was worried about him. This was supposed to just be a little hang...

No, it was supposed to be our date. That's what it was truly meant to be, but Sasuke and I ruined it with our problems.

"Hey, Mr and Mrs Haruno? Do you think you could drop me off at The Inuzuka residence instead of the bus stop."

"Hm, you're going to Kiba's house?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah, it's a lot closer than my own house and I don't want you all to be traveling so far just for me." I smiled, not even having the courage to face her after everything I've done with her boyfriend.

Even if he is behaving trash to me.

"Oh that's so thoughtful of you. Sakura you really do have great friends." Mrs Haruno complimented.

"Oh mom, of course I do. You raised me do to so right?"

"That's right." Mr. Haruno agreed.

"Haha thank you." I smiled, but I couldn't even keep it very long when all I could think about was Kiba.

If only I had taken him up on his offer then maybe none of this would've happened. I would've left Sasuke alone and be free from him and the control he has over me, but that only made me wonder just how Sakura dealt with all of this.

It would have to be stressful for her to be with someone like that.

Wait a minute...

"Hey Saku-" I tried as I had a hunch about something but I didn't have the chance.

"We're here." Her father announced before I could.

I decided it might be best to just leave it for tonight. It didn't make sense for me to stress anyone else out at this time.

So I exited the vehicle and said my goodbyes before watching them drive off. I almost forgot to call my parents and let them know I'll be home tomorrow. I didn't plan on leaving until knowing Kiba was okay after all and who knows how long that'll take.

"Hello, mom?" I asked once the home phone was picked up.

"Yeah? Naruto? Where are you do you know how late it is? I was just about to call you but then I remember you were supposed to be at detention. Oh my this is just ridiculous."

"Haha I'm sorry mom. But I just wanted to call and let you know that I'll be heading home with Kiba tonight. Mrs Sarutobi is feeling exhausted and he's closer so it'll be less stress on her."

"Oh that poor woman, please remind me to bake her a treat. She's working so hard to keep you two out of trouble."

"I'll definitely remind you."

"Thank you, and behave yourself while you're over there please. The last thing we need is you two messing up Kiba's home."

"You don't have to worry about it. I'll be on my best behavior."
