I woke up to my alarm of 7 AM. After Disha and Abhi spoke to me, I felt the absolute need to talk the matter out with Varun. I had a patchy sleep the previous night; therefore, I was inevitably irritable. My head was clouded with thoughts and I had been trying to rehearse the conversation I was going to have with him, but it was a mess.

This is what happens when I try to hard. There was an urgent requirement to relax, get my shit together and get dressed for the meeting. Thinking about how everything would unfold was just making everything harder. In the last ten hours, I witnessed my cheating ex show up at my doorstep, have a breakdown, make a decision to talk to him, unblock him so I could inform him about our meeting place and miss another day of college when the attendance is barely a seventy percent.

We decided that he would meet me at my place because of security issues. As much I resented the idea, I understood that it would probably be another headline for the tabloids tomorrow after he is "spotted at a café with a woman after a bad, shitty performance."

I looked at the reflection in the mirror; the girl staring back at me had sunken eyes, tired from all the sobbing and breakdown, some stress pimples popping from her forehead and messy hair. I quickly did my makeup, made myself look anything but a living corpse and put on my sweatshirt.

Then I waited. Waited with anxiety and little bit of nervousness. Waited for the conversation that could either sort things out or make everything even worse. The waiting ended when I heard the doorbell.

A/N:   Happy New year Amigos. The last update was when Camilla and Shawn were still an item and the world was a better place to live in. With that being said, I have no clue how many people will read the update but I nothing will stop me from hasty, clumsily written updates this year ( maybe the brunt of uni assignments will, but okay).
