Chapter 1: Coming Home

Third person's POV

Stars shine so brightly in the middle of the night, the moon made the sight vividly peaceful, clouds were darker and clearer as the night went by, and city lights reflected their perspective above the skies. The smell of luxury and expensive perfumes surrounded the two elegant high-class women who sat proudly on their private jet. One woman was sleeping peacefully while the other annoyed the other woman by talking repeatedly and loudly disturbing her beautiful sleep.

"Come on Rosie, why can't you visit your dad in the hospital? He's very sick and needs you by his side" said the unknown woman to the sleeping girl listening attentively but not opening her eyes to acknowledge the noisy girl. She sighed and answered "Why don't you wait until we get there Lisa? we'll have the time to discuss that matter later, not now I'm tired, why don't you take a nap for a while that would make this day more peaceful" Rosie said and looked over the window to avoid her best friend

"Excuse me! you're telling me I'm annoying? How dare you Park Chaeyoung! we've been best friends since we were kids and now you're hurting my feelings by saying that" Lisa fake cried and smiled playfully because she knew that Chaeyoung would take her word back but to her surprise, Rosie didn't say anything but rolled her eyes silently.

"Fine, that's how it is then." Lisa sulked and rolled her eyes "By the way, we didn't have any information about Kim they suddenly disappeared after you and Jenn-"

"Don't say her name it irritates me more, I'm here for my family and business I don't have time for this Lisa, cut to the chase." Rosie cuts off Lisa about the Kims.

What about the Kim's why does Rosie hold so much hatred?

"Okay fine. You've changed Ms. Park why don't we have some fun in Korea?" Lisa asked Rosie with her smug smile and finally, Rosie sat straight and faced the girl "I'm going to pass Ms. Manoban I'm tired, and like I said I'm only here for business." Rosie said making eye contact with Lisa and relaxing on her seat

" Gosh you are so scary Rosie you used to be a ball of sunshine and an adventurous human being, what happened?" Asked Lisa

"People change, Lisa." Rosie fired back while watching the city lights below her indicating that they'd arrived in Korea

"I don't think so Rosie someone made you change yourself." Lisa thought to herself

 "Anyways, I'm going to party with my friends after we arrive." Lisa informed Rosie "And your purpose is to?" asked Rosie sternly "To have fun and get some fresh air." Lisa said, "If you're not tired you can join us we're always free, my dear friend." Added Lisa, Rosie facepalmed and warned Lisa "Don't drag me to your mess and make me clean your mess Lisa I don't have time for you, I'm going to inform your dad if you make one mistake involving me in it." Rosie informed Lisa. "What! No! Don't call my dad, please! I swear I'll be on my best behavior Chaeyoung-ah, I'm begging you the last time you called my dad that I was caught in a fight he almost beheaded me."

"I'm glad you know Lisa" Rosie said while Lisa was shocked and finally went silent. "Just don't catch yourself in a mess, Lisa." Lisa was happy that Rosie said that despite Rosie's cold demeanor personality she knew Rosie had a soft spot for her even though she changed herself after what happened to her past. Lisa hugged Rosie tightly while smiling and talking about different things. While they were talking it was announced that they had arrived in Korea. Rosie looked out her window and thought to herself "I wonder if we cross paths again, I hope not."

In the tallest building of a luxurious apartment, a woman that is dressed in a red robe the richest daughter of a businessman in Korea sat in her office admiring the scenery in front of her. The sight of Korea taking a sip of her wine while whirling it thinking about something. She pushed a button to call for someone. Suddenly her family assistant came in "Ms. Kim, is there something you need?" said her family assistant and bowed

"I want a personal assistant that is persistent and prominent enough to follow my orders, Minnie." "A personal assistant? But Ms. Kim you've already hired a dozen assistants but ended up getting fired or resigning, I doubt that someone would take the position-" Minnie got cut off by Ms. Kim "Or do you want your position to be removed as well?" Ms. Kim said earning a nervous and scared secretary to answer "I'm sorry Ms. Kim, I'll find one right away, but please make this your last assistant Ms. Kim." Minnie said pleadingly "It depends Minnie, you're dismissed." Minnie bowed to Ms. Kim and headed to the door before Minnie reached the gigantic door, her tablet notified her something about Ms. Kim's brother visiting her. "Ohh Ms. Kim, It seems that your brother wants to see you, he's coming to your apartment"

"Taehyung? Show him the way to my apartment." Minnie once again bowed to Ms. Kim and proceeded to exit Ms. Kim's luxurious apartment. Minnie didn't know how Ms. Kim's brother looked she was never curious or meddled things with her boss's life. She was a respectful and understanding person to Ms. Kim. They grew up together since they were in high school, they were best friends, but then Minnie noticed Ms. Kim's strange behavior towards everyone. She shuts everyone in her life, changes her personality into something colder, doesn't talk much like before, and drinks and clubs more. She wants to talk it out with Ms. Kim a long time time ago but she doesn't know how to approach her, she's afraid that she might hit a trigger spot and make everything worse. She only remembered when they were back in high school Ms. Kim vented to her about their break up and left her, she then started changing rapidly after her incident. Minnie was about to sit in the main lobby but then a man who was covered in a black outfit decided to ask her about Ms. Kim's whereabouts

"I'm here to see my sister Jennie. Jennie Kim"
