Chapter 2: Disease

Third person's POV

"You must be Kim Taehyung? before that please scan your hand Mr. Kim to record your identity on your sister's visitors list, I'll show you her apartment Mr. Kim after scanning, please follow me" said Minnie. Taehyung then scanned his fingerprints in the device that Minnie handed and followed their family's assistant without questioning anything because he was thinking about how he would open a certain topic for her sister who had been buried years ago along with her.

They went to the elevator and the highest peak of the apartment. When they reached the top floor Minnie then bid her goodbye to his other boss and went down again.

Taehyung approached her sister's apartment slowly and looked at the door in front of him saying a chant to protect his life after breaking the news to her "Well, here goes nothing Noona" he said and inhaled deeply before opening the door. As soon as he opened the luxurious apartment, he saw his sister standing in front of the glass view outside, mesmerized by the city she was living in. Before he could approach her Jennie interjected him with a question.

"What brings you here? work again? If it's work come back tomorrow" Jennie said sternly to her brother exhaustion present in her tone.

"It's more than work Noona, dad relayed this message to you in advance to control your emotions and be ready for what's going to come," Taehyung said nervously sitting in his sister's living room. Jennie then backed away from the view she was admiring and seated immediately to listen to his brother's words of what could be the reason that her father told Taehyung but not himself.

"I'm more than ready Taehyung if it's work-related, tell me a new project. an annoying client? a presentation? a chart of our company's improvements? spit it out" Jennie said coldly to him and Taehyung readied himself, he looked at his sister and said, "Park Spectra is having a crisis because of their CEO being sick, right?" Taehyung said slowly to calm her sister in between his words, a reason why his dad chose Taehyung to talk the personal and important matters to his sister that his father couldn't handle properly.

"Right? And what about them?" Jennie said anticipating the next thing his brother going to say.

"It's already announced that he already made his will of who will be the next heir of their company and it's Park Chaeyoung," Taehyung said seriously and saw his sister's reaction and found herself shocked and took a while processing his brother's news. A hard pill to swallow if it were in Jennie's mouth.

Jennie POV

That name that I hate the most comes back again like a disease, Taehyung was talking about the possible chances if the CEO of Park Spectra would peril in death and Kim Innovations improvement in succeeding Park Spectra, but I didn't pay attention whatsoever because I knew what was going to happen if a certain event came.

"Jennie, are you listening? I said if the current CEO would die Chaeyou-"

"I GET IT!" I exploded in front of him my anger rising in every way possible after he kept mentioning a name where I buried it years ago. "Tell me the details tomorrow, this is enough Taehyung, you may go now. And tell Mom and dad my regards for surprising me a wonderful news" I said sarcastically and waited for Taehyung to leave before he can saw me wrecking every part of my apartment.

Third person's POV 

As Teahyung was about to open the door and heard his sister's demands he then said one final statement to make sure his sister gets the risk and consequences if she act irrationally.

"Noona, you should know that both of you will meet again and make sure to control yourself before you make a plan to destroy her. This is not your only satisfaction but to our company also" Taehyung said sternly and bid her sister goodbye.As Taehyung went to the elevator he was supportive that his sister would make a plan to destroy her ex-lover after witnessing her sister destroying herself after finding out that her past lover broke up with her and had the guts to fly somewhere far away and he cannot forgive the person who destroyed his sister's sanity and replacing her with someone he doesn't know anymore. Taehyung's supportive and kind sister was replaced to someone who is distant and a stranger. Taehyung reminisce every memory of her sister where they were happy and having fun until it turned upside down when Park Chaeyoung came. Taehyung scrunched his face with anger and proceed to exit the elevator when it reached the ground floor. 

Minnie saw Taehyung frowning after leaving the building and wonder to herself what happened between them.

Jennie POV

After hearing Taehyung's words I poured myself a drink and shouted every part of my body how ridiculous it is for unexpected events to come like this. After drinking I grabbed my car keys to go to the club to loosen myself and think something other than the news that my brother told me. His words lingered in my head how that Park will come back.

"Curse this person to the bone"
