***For @aashy16 (why won't it tag you? Idk. But here's the final chapter!! Glad you've enjoyed this one ❤️) ***
"Calum, you took your break today, right?"
"Michelle, it's barely 11am, no, I haven't had my break yet," Calum laughed, opening the med drawer attached to his computer to get some motrin for one of his patients. He was barely even half way done with his ten o'clock meds. The two were standing at the back of the unit outside one of his rooms by the trauma PA's office and some storage closets.
"Okay, okay, it's just my first day as charge, so I'm really trying to follow Monica's rules," she exhaled shakily, eyes flirting nervously over her clipboard.
Calum smiled sympathetically, looking up at the anxious girl and gently patting her shoulder.
"Hey, you're doing great, okay? I can't go on break till after I finish up morning meds, and by then it'll be time for afternoon meds, but I promise I'll take a few minutes in between, and I'll eat lunch as soon as I have a free moment,"
The young girl nodded happily.
"Okay, good. Tell Ashton to do the same, I know he never goes for lunch, and..." she bit her lip and laughed, "I feel like he's more likely to listen to you than anyone else,"
"He'll do whatever I say," he said with a wink. He was about to continue when he heard a scoff from behind him. Whirling around with a guilty look on his face he smiled bashfully at his boyfriend.
"Hey, Ashton!" Michelle waved, not noticing any tension between the two men. "I was just talking to Calum about breaks. Make sure you take yours today,"
"Mhm, sure, whatever." But he wasn't even looking at her, instead had his gaze set upon the slightly shorter boy. She walked away, face stuffed in the clipboard as she went off to make sure thing were running smoothly. "I'm more interested in what you had to say, baby. What was that?"
"I, uh..." Calum choked on his words, lost in the depths of Ashton's dark eyes.
"That's what I thought. Who is it who gives the orders, and who just obeys, hm?" Ashton ran his fingers lightly down Calum's cheek, smirking when he tried to follow the touch. "Good boys answer with words, Cal,"
"Y-you," he whispered, voice cracking. "You order, I l-listen."
"That's right, love. So why did you tell Michelle otherwise?"
He shrugged, twinkle in his eyes. He put his hands on Ashton's chest, running his fingers over the vneck of his top.
"Thought it was funny,"
"You'll find it funny later tonight, won't ya, babe?"
Calum gasped, holding back a smile as Ashton pulled him a bit farther down the hall towards the quieter PA hallway which was only accessible through their unit.
"What am I gonna do with you, baby?" Ashton teased, chest to chest with his boyfriend, loving the way Calum responded when he pressed him against the wall, and boxed his head in with his hands. Calum whimpered when Ashton lightly pressed his lips to the spot under his jaw that made him putty in the older man's hands. "Gotta remind you your place, don't I darling?"
Calum was about to respond when a door down the hall opened up. Ashton didn't pull away, but Calum's eyes were wide as he watched one of the Trauma PA's walk the opposite direction and enter inside a different room without catching them. They were in the middle of the hallway!
"A-Ash," he panted, weakly attempting to push the man away. He didn't want him to stop...but they were at work.
Ashton played with the bottom of Calum's shirt, teasingly brushing the skin of Calum's waist as he tauntingly began to pull it up.
