Past

I was sleeping in my small bed when my bedroom door opened. Two big silhouette's stood in the doorway. They turned on the light and I  shot up straight. Two unfamiliar men were standing in my bedroom and that's when I began to scream.

"Mom! Mom help me!"

"She is not coming kid." Said the one on the right. "So you better shut your mouth and do as we say."

I was looking for an escape route but there was none. The door was the only way out, my window was behind me but the drop was to far down to survive.

"Please don't touch me." I began crying when the bigger man started to approach the bed.

"None of that, sweetheart. Listen, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, understand?" He towered over my small form.

"Where is my mom? What did you do to her?" I crawled backwards when he started to reach for me.

The guy standing in the doorway laughed.

"Nothing but she won't be helping you. She is the one that hired us."

"W-what?" I breathed.

"She signed you up for a wilderness program in Utah." The man next to me explained and got a hold of my arm. "Looks like you're going on a little camping trip for the next few weeks." He pulled me out of bed and I started to struggle in his arms.

"Let me go!" I tried to kick him in his chest and called out for my mom again.

"The hard way it is then." The guy sighed and reached for the handcuffs on his belt. They quickly managed to subdue me, carrying me downstairs and threw me in the back of their car.

I had just been legally kidnapped.

Present

My first day of high school. I was very excited. I almost sprang out of bed the moment the clock hit six AM. I never remembered being excited to go to school when I was little, but I haven't had much of an education since I was eleven, so I was ecstatic to go again.

It wasn't a regular high school though. Alexander told me it was a private school, so probably only rich kids attended. It was called the St. Williams school. I even had to wear an uniform. It wasn't awful, the skirt was a decent length, on the top I wore a white blouse and the blazer that was nice and fitted. A dark blue tie with the school logo finished the outfit. I combed my hair and decided to leave it as it is.

I was the first down for breakfast and Alice one of our housekeepers was preparing what looked like a whole buffet. The breakfast table was overflowing with food. Everything you could have for breakfast was present.

"Good morning, Miss Dupont! You are the first one to arrive. I am almost done with the pancakes but if you are really hungry you can start on some of the other things that I put on the table." She smiled and pointed to the table of food.

"Wow... Alice, you made enough to feed an entire village!" I exclaimed.

"Oh don't be so sure about that, dear girl. Your brothers have a strong appetite." Alice laughed and flipped a pancake in the air before catching it back in the pan.

Turns out she was right. I was half way through my bowl of yoghurt and fruit when the first two arrived. Noah and Lucian both came down at the same time and were also wearing their uniform, of course they had pants instead of a skirt. It was weird seeing them in such sophisticated outfits when they normally wore t-shirts. Although both of them were not wearing their blazer and they had rolled up their sleeves of their blouse. Both of them sat down and immediately dug in. In seconds they had stacked their plates with pancakes, croissants, eggs and bacon.
