So you are likely to be like 'Oh, but I can never think of a good plot'. It's as easy as starting your writing basic until you build up to something dramatic, and then boring again and then dramatic. Keep the boring chapters to at least 1 chapter and no more or else people will ditch the book. And also make sure to drop small hints for plot twists along the way, don't just say 'Well, he hasn't been around much at all these last few weeks', instead, write about the days and then say how he said he was going out. It's that simple. No big hints but also remember to put hints in there.
In fact, one of the easiest ways to start book is by one sentence, say the sentence 'the crystal shards fell from the ceiling as Alya retreated to her room'.
From that we can develop it. So we can say Alya was angry, and upset, for some reason crystal shards fell from the ceiling... a chandelier? Or maybe there was an earthquake and Alya ran to her room for cover? Yes, this was a terrible example, but as long as you understand, it doesn't matter.
