Lumine started to cook their lunch and the other two are both in the living room. Awkward silence surrounds Paimon and Childe. He's been spacing out ever since Lumine left them alone in the living room.

Paimon can't stand it. Seriously! This guy is acting like a girl in her early teens!!

"What's up with you?!" She yelled at his face.  Childe looked at her startled. He is having a hard time to process what just happened. "I thought a harbinger doesn't let his guard down. You look like Klee's bombs that are about to explode." Paimon crossed her arms together.

"Uhm.. I don't really know. I'm kind of... nervous?" Childe ignored Paimon's insult.  Paimon sighed. She isn't comfortable with this new-found side of Childe. "Aren't you a man?" Paimon asked him.

"Huh- what?"
"Are you a man?!"
"Yes, I am. Why are you asking me this?" Childe scratched the back of his head.

"You're being an idiot."
"Now that kind of hurts, shorty." Paimon sat beside him and they both remained silent. "Don't worry, Paimon won't say anything about this to Lumine. So just be natural around her, okay?"

"Lunch is ready! Come on." Lumine called for them. "Don't worry. Paimon will keep it a secret." Paimon winked at him and floated to the kitchen. "That smells really good." Paimon sniffed the food's scent in the air. Childe followed. He and Paimon almost touched the food but Lumine grabbed their hands. "Ah-ah-ah, wash your hands first." The two went straight to the sink and washed their hands.

Lumine sat down on her usual chair. Childe sat beside her and Paimon sat across them. "I hope you enjoy the meal. Mora Meat, Mixed Yakisoba and Cream Stew." She smiled sweetly at them. "Thank you for the food!" Paimon took a huge bite out of the food. Childe looked at her as he started to eat. He can't stop looking at her. As Lumine was about to eat the stew, she brushed her hair to the side and slid it behind her ear.

He turned into stone and turned pink all of a sudden. She looked so beautiful. He was stunned and he almost dropped his spoon. He spaced out and felt a hand brushing against his cheek. He flinched and looked at the girl beside her. "I thought Fatui Harbingers never let their guard down. Don't worry, I'm just wiping the stew off your face."

Childe turned bright red and started to steam. Lumine smiled at him and kept brushing his cheek. She brushed on his cheek more just to feel how soft they were. She then realized what she was doing when Paimon cleared her throat.

Why does Paimon have to be a third-wheel here?! Jeez.

Lumine felt her face flush pink. She continued to eat quietly and she cursed at herself for doing such a thing. Childe finally opened his mouth and a giggle came out followed by a hearty laugh. "Were you enjoying that? And with a Fatui? Your so hated enemy? This doesn't seem to be like you, Traveler." She stared daggers at him but then she sighed.

"What do you mean? I let you in my Tea Pot and I even let you stay here for some time. I even cook not-poisoned food for you and let you come with me on my short travels and commissions. You even stick around and hang out with me." He looked at her with his ocean blue eyes. "Well you're right with one thing though. I do hate the Fatui." Lumine said as she met Childe's stare at her.

"But, I don't hate Ajax." she added. He remained silent, stunned by her words. "I don't see you as a Fatui right now. All I see is Ajax."

He felt a smile forming on his face. "So, that's how you see me right now?" Lumine smiled back at him. That smile faded quickly and turned into a bitter yet sarcastic smirk. "Just right now though. I know you're gonna force me into another sparring session or attempt to kill me in our next battle as a Fatui."
