Chapter 10: Liyue Harbor

"Lumine?" Paimon gently tapped on her shoulder. "M-mm? What?" Lumine yawned. Aether looked at his sister half-awake on his shoulder. "We're almost there to Liyue Harbor, Lumi." He smiled gently. He fixed his sister's messy hair and kissed her forehead. "You hungry Lumi? Here, Heizou bought this." Venti smiled at her and tried to move just to sit next to her to give the Dango Milk to her.

"Stay there at the backseat. I'll just pass it to her." Aether gave off a smile but with an obvious kill intent to it. "Aw jeez, I just wanna sit next to her." Venti pouted and handed the Dango Milk to Aether. Lumine looked so confused and looked out the window. "We're already in Liyue?" She asked.

"Yep." Aether opened the bottle for her and gave it to her. "Thanks. I had a very strange dream."

"Hm? What dream?" Paimon asked. Lumine thought about it. Everything is already fuzzy to her. All she can remember is the man and how she felt but can't really remember what happened. "I... Can't really remember it now. All I know is that it's strange."

Heizou smirked and looked at them on the back. "Then I'll help figure out the whole dream."

"Nevermind." Lumine brushed it off. "Why? I'm here to help." Heizou pouted and crossed his arms. "No need. I think it's not really necessary." She continued to brush off. "Hmm.. interesting. Seems like you remembered it." Heizou teased.

Lumine turned pink. "N-no." Kazuha started listening because things got interesting while Venti has been listening from the start. Xiao is driving but has been quiet and not listening at all.

"Could it be... You dreamt of a guy?" Heizou asked in a teasing way. Xiao's eyes widened and Aether's face looked even more surprised. Like he saw the end of the world. Kazuha remained calm yet a hint of surprise and curiosity on his face. Venti is all ears for the juicy conversation.

"W-what?! How did you figure out?!?" Lumine blushed. Paimon's jaw dropped. "You like someone, Lumine?" Kazuha asked calmly. Xiao pulled the car over to look back at them.

"Ooh~ who is it, Lumi?" Venti teased. "H-hey, Aether, you okay?" Xiao looked at Aether, whose expression is already dead as a doorknob.

"B-brother?! H-hey, I don't even know that guy. I can't really remember what he looked like. I don't even know him." Lumine fanned at him like he's losing oxygen.

"I-I'm fine. I was just not ready to hear that information and I overreacted." Aether reassured. "That face says otherwise." Paimon pointed out his still soulless face.

"Well, it's normal for a girl her age to have a crush, right?" Heizou explained.

"Like I said, I don't know the person I saw. I don't have a crush, too."

Aether sighed out of relief. Xiao continued driving. The ride became silent as they got busy watching the Harbor as they draw near it. They stopped at a hotel to settle for the three-week stay.
