"Is there something you need?" I question the vampire and flip another page of the book I'm currently reading, not looking up at the man who appears in front of me from the ceiling upside down.

"Your reflexes are sharp, it is to be admire" He compliments.

"Years of practice will do that. Now please answer my question. Is there something you need?" I look directly into his fiery eyes.

He grins wickedly "what are you reading?"

"A book" I answer curtly. He chuckles in amusement at my answer.

"Why so cold, Lady Death?"

"Because you've been bothering me for the last two weeks, vampire" I retort in slight aggitation. He's been appearing more around me as of late just to toy with me.

"You don't find my presence comforting?"

I scoff "I'm pretty sure no one would"

This earns me a deep chuckle from him that vibrates throughout the empty library.

"Why is it that you do not drink blood?" He questions, voice taking on a serious tone as the grin on his pale face drops.

The change in his demeanor kinda surprises me, though I don't show it on my expressionless face "Why would you like to know?, it isn't any of your buisness what decisions I make, now is it?"

"So you made that choice then?" His grin widens, a unhinged expression crosses his face "I know you thirst for me just like I thrist for you, why do you resist temptation?"

"Not all temptation is good, there's this word and it's call self control"

"Self control, you say" He ponders out loud.

"I won't deny that your blood is tantalizing but I won't be sucking it anytime soon, now leave me be, vampire" I finalize and go back to reading my book. If he thinks I'm going to play this game of his then I won't, I was sent here to help take care of the vampire problem then leave once my job is done. I don't have time to be playing into his games.

I might be a monster but I would like to think that I have some humanity in me left since I am half human after all. He still hasn't left yet so I glance up, noticing his face is directly in front of my own. His psychotic grin stretches unnaturally, his fangs are out in full display.

"You say that now, but how long will you be able to resist me?, It's taking everthing in me not to bite into you right now. Which one of us will give into our carnal desire first?"

"It certainly won't be me" I narrow my eyes "now leave, I'm trying to read"

He sinks back into the ceiling, orange red eyes never leaving me as he laughs.

I swear he's just here to cause problems in my life.

The next night I've been informed by Walter that Integra is in need of my presence in her office.

I appear from the shadows, weapons ready and nod to Integra, who is seated behind her desk, smoking a cigar. Alucard stands right beside her wearing a pair of orange tinted glasses on his face. I usually always see him without them.

"You've requested me, Sir Integra" I say.

She nods her head "Yes. There has been three vampire's causing trouble in Epping Forrest. Ghouls have been spotted in the forest by random civilians. I want you and Alucard to take care of it immediately"

"Yes, my master"

"Yes, Sir Integra"

I silently walk alongside Alucard through the dark forest. I can smell the vampire's scent, we're getting closer to their hideout. There has to be at least three of them hiding here.
