A tan finger skims over some diles on the phone. Integra questions once she's in contact with the other line.
"What's your position, Walter?"
"Mrs. Victoria room in the sub basement. I've already been brought up to speed with this situation. Outside communication has been cut off so I wouldn't expect reinforcements for at least four hours maybe five. In the mean time our current forces have been order to defend the conference room with their lives" The hellsing butler informs.
"What do you recommend?" She inquires, seeking his guidance.
"Well for starters please fortified the door to the conference room. Since both Alucard and Ms. Victoria are with me down in the sub basement, I propose we divide into three teams. Alucard will head upstairs, Ms. Victoria and I will make our way towards the conference room and Ms. Layla will be taking care of the intruders on the floor you all are residing on"
While they converse my eyes narrow into slits, nose picking up a scent as my senses goes crazy. My eyes flicker to a particular spot on the wall. A lone black fly is seated against the wall, watching us with its many eyes. To the ordinary human, it look just like any other regular fly.
No this isn't any ordinary fly. The smell of envy that reeks from it belongs to the one and only lord of the flies.
Beelzebub.
The two men aren't the only ones here. He's somewhere close by. Afterall, where there is evil, sin and chaos, the devil is never too far behind. This fly simply works as a spy for him. Lucifer really do have eyes everywhere, though I am not surprise. What I am surprise at though is that he sent one of the seven princes of hell to spy on me and not one of the lesser known demons.
'Does this mean he's apprehensive? Finally able to see that there are worst things that are walking this earth that are physically on par with even the prince's of hell themselves, like Alucard for example? Or do he think that Beelzebub will be able to handle the situation himself in due time?'
With the suble flick of my wrist I watch as the shadow creates a bubble around the fly before it can fly off and crush it into oblivion. I don't need him keeping tabs. My thoughts are interrupted when my sharp tipped ears twitches from hearing noise in the vents.
Looking up, I slowly blink like a cat in surprise as part of the vent fall and hit a plump man with brown hair and a matching color mustache straight in the face. He screams in surprise, clearly in pain. Seras behind came through the now open vent, shocking the round table men.
"It's a...it's a bottom?"
Seras falls through with a yell, her backside directly hitting the seated plump man surprise face and they both fall to the floor in a heap. My full lips slightly twitches upward at the comical aspect of the situation. I needed a bit of a good laugh in these dark times. Walter gracefully follows, hands landing on the table, he does a quick back flip and lands feet first on the ground in front of the fallen duo.
"Are you alright Ms. Victoria?" The butler asks the young draculina.
"Seras! Walter!" Integra exclaims, enthusiasm clear in her usually monotone voice.
"I do apologize for the delay" Walter walks towards her, leaving behind Seras who is still seated on top of the struggling table member who words are muffled by Seras who sits on his face.
"Hi" She awkwardly says, a hand to her head as she rubs it. Integra raises up a cigar to her mouth as Walter lights up a lighter to burn the tip of it.
He speaks while lighting up her cigar "The manor defensive has been roundly decimated. I don't know who armed and trained these creatures but whoever did is a tactile genius. They knew exactly how and where to hit us"
