Her eyes widen in surprise as she reels back from me, a scream sounding similar to screech breaks through her lips. Reaching up the hand shakily, she stares at the missing digits with wide eyes in astonishment. The warm blood drips down and onto my face.
"You shouldn't have been able to..." She mutters to herself in surprise. I'm surprise too but I make sure not to make it known to her especially.
I spit the digits to the side, her blood drips down my lips. I refuse to taste it.
"You're getting weaker witch. Tell me, is father not giving you enough power or have you've always been his complacent?, feeling like you should never improve on your abilities since no one has ever challenged you?" I question her, my tone taunting and dry "or perhaps the contract you placed upon me effects are possibly weakening?"
"H-how..How dare you!" She reacts violently, the extreme wrinkles on her face contorts with her fury and rage. Taking the vile, she goes to try and pour it directly in my eyes but the shadows in the room reacts violently and quickly wrap around her wrist, preventing her movements. She was so close to doing it to, just a drop away. She relases her hand from my face and wraps it around the shadow, trying to remove it. It only tightens in response, earning a look of pain from her.
I stare at her, motionless and unblinking.
"....so the effects of the contract are weakening and you are aware of it. That's why you were sent here by him to try and fix it somehow..." I voice my thoughts. She sharply turns her head to look down at me. Now I have her full attention again, purple eyes wide and panic. What a interesting reaction, so I'm right on the mark. I think for a moment then it comes to me as my pitch black eyes darts to look at the vile still clutched in her hand.
"Every time I act out or made a mistake, holy water was use against me to keep me at bay" I remark. Her mouth opens to refute but I won't give her the chance to speak. I can sense her worry, worried that I'm collecting the pieces and putting them together.
"That holy water, you did something to it? Witches are known for making potions and concoctions for various of reasons. That's not just any regular holy water isn't it?, you changed it. You're the one who gives the water to certain high ranking members at the base to keep me in my place, telling them it was blessed by the pope and of course they believed you like the arrogant fools they are but that's a lie too. It all makes sense now"
My brows knit together, eyes narrowing into slits, similar to a snake ready to strike at her "...I won't let you try this time"
Fire ignites the room, it starts off small like a flicker in the dark before it grows and lights up the darkness that veils over us. Screams of tortured souls can be heard around us and smoke clouds the room. Panicking purple eyes look around at the fire. Like a cat with water, she removes herself from on top of me with haste, a fear within her soul so raw I can smell it from here as she moves away from the spreading fire.
And I enjoy every second of it. The flames touches my skin but leaves me unharmed. She can't come near me, even if she wants to, unless she wants to feel like she's being burned alive.
"What is this?!, what is this?!" She screeches like a banshee, eyes averting in every which was as she back away from the spreading fire that's making its way towards her. The sound of chains rattles, joining in on the excitment of her torment.
"No, no, no!. Stop this, you self coniving bitch! Don't you let it come near me!" She's wailing at this point, sounding more inhuman. Crazed eyes darts around the firey room. She presses herself against the wall, wanting it to swallow her up.
No, she deserves this and worst.
The cries of children, the children she ate throughout her long years sound from within the fire. Voicing their revenge against her for what she done to them.
