My eyes shot open, taking in my surroundings. Very familiar.

I lay bound in cloth and chains, sealed away and blessed with the most powerful of parchments and here a priest saying prayers above me.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me"

I lay beneath the ground, eight feet under in the middle of a forest far from human civilization.

Yes. I unfortunately remember now. The year was 1871 when this took place. This unfortunate event that led to my downfall and sleep.

Three people stand before me, all surrounding the hole that was made just for me.The demon hunter, he who has been hunting me down for ten years has finally caught up. The priest stands to the left of him, currently preaching and to the right...her.

Long white hair flows as the wind picks up, dark purple eyes gazing down at me. She appears to look like an angel to those who look at her delicate and fair features. Pure and innocent, but I can see how tainted she really is. A witch who works along side him, my father. She who I thought was trustworthy, a teacher who have taught me how to survive for so long.

She who now betrays me.

Those two idiot just don't know who they've tangled with. Working for God but unknowingly falling right into the hands of the devil. My confinement is both their life and their death, simultaneously. She'll kill them both once this is over to tie up any loose strings. I glance behind them, to the dark shadow that lingers. A shadow of a demon who matching silver eyes stare down at me. So cold and with no empathy.

"Here is where you will lay demon. No longer will you hurt others anymore and roam this earth. May God have mercy on your soul" The demon hunter announces with no remorse. He grabs the shovel and I begin to grow tense with fear. He's about to cover me with dirt and no one will hear me, my attempts of crying and begging for help or know that I'm here for a very long time.

Closing my eyes, I begin to hyperventilate, helpless as I wait for him to begin burying the remains of me deep in the ground.

"So you finally decided to drink blood again, my daughter?"

That voice, so familiar to me sent shivers of fear down my spine. Opening my eyes, I look at the man with a panic look, realizing who is here with me at the moment. He's here in my head, messing with me. My father. The hazel eyes of the hunter slowly turns silver as a wide demonic snarl appears on the mans face. The priest and that woman is gone now so it's just me and him. Alone.

"...."

"Silent are we, is that any way to treat your father?" He mockingly says in a sickly sweet voice, full of honey but covered in dead flies. He knows I can't speak when my mouth is literally bound.

"Oh, let me help you with that" With the snap of his sharp fingers the cloth around my mouth is removed "much better, hm?"

"....." Silence again follows. I won't be answering to any of his questions. He grows agitated.

"The time will come when you will be of use to me, can you hear it? The horn of Gabriel is blaring in the distance, a call to war. I know you can feel something big happening just over the horizon"

I stare up at him from my place bellow the ground, brows knit together as I piece together the puzzle.

"Do you have any part to play with everything that has been recently happening! Are you working alone or along side someone?! Answer me you disgrace!?" I demand. He chuckles, deep and mocking as if I'm a jester in a court meant for his amusement.
