Julie ran into their dorm, a wide smile on her face and a mischievous glint in her eyes. That afternoon Julie, Russ and Kenny met up for what Russ affectionately dubbed, 'piece de resistance' or to put it in layman terms, sweet sweet revenge.

"What did the three of you do?" Eurydice asked lazily, chemistry taking up most of her focus.

Julie sat up proudly, "We snuck liquid nitrogen out of the science lab and we may or may not have frozen the jerseys of all Eden Hall Varsity members. Went out for frozen yogurt to celebrate our amazing victory."

Eurydice chuckled and clapped for Julie, before hurriedly going back to her work.

"Why are you still on the first chapter? Thought you'd be done with the worksheets by now." Julie asked flipping through Eurydice's undone work load.

Eurydice sighed, "Dean called, we got into a fight again and Fulton walked in. We went out for coffee to clear my mind."

Julie nodded, "Does Dean know?"

"About what?"

"That you and Fulton went out alone, he seems pretty sensitive about that."

Eurydice shook her head, "Nope. And he's not going to know, I defended Banks and became lab partners with Fulton and all of the sudden I'm the most unfaithful girlfriend in the world. He would  kill me if he ever found out."

Julie put her hand on Eurydice's wrist, pausing her frantic writing, "Eurydice, if he was a good boyfriend you should be able to tell him you had lunch with a friend. You shouldn't be afraid of him."

A shaky breath was let out by Eurydice, "I appreciate your concerns Jules, I really do but I'm not afraid of him, just scared for our relationship that's all."

Julie gave one last look of uncertainty before squeezing Eurydice's hand and leaving her to her work.

"Can somebody please tell me the quadratic formula? Anybody? " Mr Wong asked to a completely disinterested class, half of which were already fast asleep.

Eurydice was in and out of consciousness, black pen ink bleeding through the thick worksheet. Only to be fully awoken by a paper ball landing on the back of her head.

She whipped her head towards the direction of the attack, just to see a proud looking Chris from across the classroom. He just wouldn't leave her alone. Does he not care that Eurydice has never shown a single ounce of interest?

Eurydice glared at him, "What do you want?" she mouthed, making Chris keep his attention on her.

Chris smirked, "You."

Eurydice scoffed, flipped him off and turned her attention back to the chalk board. How entitled can one guy be?

Another paper ball landed on Eurydice's table, catching her attention once again.

Eurydice scrunched up her nose, confused at what more would Chris want to tell her. As she uncrumpled the ball, she felt Chris's gaze burn holes in the side of her head.

Do you want to go out with me sometime?
You look cute asleep.
                                             — Chris

Eurydice felt herself gag at his lame attempt of flirting which somehow came off as both desperate and creepy.

"Fuck off. I have a boyfriend." Eurydice wrote on the wrinkled piece of paper, throwing it back nonchalantly to Chris who was still somehow staring at Eurydice blankly.
