Finally, Alchemist has found the end of that hallway. She was now standing in the entrance to a big, empty room. There were a couple of rocks and plants on the floor. In the end, there was a red light. It looked the same as the light she has seen before. She stood there. Alchemist felt strong magic coming from that direction. She might not have been studying magic but she could recognize that the magic in this cave wasn't just a regular spell. She slowly started walking towards the light. She finally stopped, looking at a strange view. There was a rock. But it wasn't just a regular rock. It looked like a half of a pillar got cut off. It was really short. Alchemist could easily reach it. On it, there was a cage. It was a white, glass cage. It looked very decent which was weird since the cave itself looked really old. It sure was abandoned.. or was it? In the cage there was something red. A crystal, gem to be exact. There was a light coming out of it and.. magic? Alchemist couldn't tell if it was dark magic, light magic or something else. She only knew one thing. It was trying to control her. She came closer, curious about what she has found. She got on her knees and looked at it closely. It truly was a beautiful gem. It had no scratches, no dirt, no dust. It was clean and shiny. And so was the cage. It looked like it was completely new tho it was probably standing here for at least a year. That was the time when the missing cookies were last seen, entering The Forbidden Forest. It was surprising how there was no dust on neither the cage nor the gem. It was as if something wasn't allowing any dirt get near to the crystal. The cage had no lock. Everyone could get their hand in without a bigger problem. Alchemist reached out and opened the cage. As she touched the gem, she felt something strange. Her hand felt like it was burning. She quickly backed off. The feeling disappeared immediately. She looked at her hand. It looked normal.
~"If it didn't physically harm me then it's safe."
She thought, completely ignoring the pain she felt seconds ago. She wasn't giving up so easily. She opened her bag and reached out for the gem again. This time she didn't let it go when she felt the pain again. She quickly grabbed it and almost threw it into her bag. She closed it, proud of herself. She got up and started heading towards the way she came in. She got what she wanted and now she was planning to leave. When suddenly something approached her, right when she was close to the corridor she was struggling in before. Something she'd never expect to find.
