A Year Later

Jessica walked into the Blackbourne Toma mansion and huffed when she entered the living room, "What?" She seethed as she crossed her arms. She still hadn't forgiven them.

There had been no word of Ember since she snuck out of the room. Despite all their tries they have not been able to find her. She sold both of her cars and her apartment was emptied out with no forwarding address. Corey had tracking on her bank account but it had been wiped out and she hadn't created another one that he could find. Without knowing her actual birthname and birthdate it was hard to find her. He was constantly tracking the Suicide Girls website to see if she uploaded new pictures but there hadn't been any. Her photography business was still active and she would book sessions but she always uploaded from public servers and her IP address was rerouted all over the world so it couldn't be tracked. They thought they found her at one point but when they arrived it was just someone that resembled her but it wasn't actually Ember. Every so often Jess could get a thumbs up text from a random number but they were always from burner phones so they couldn't track her. When they would view security footage of the phones being purchased the woman's face would be facing away from the cameras so they couldn't confirm it was actually her. They even went as far as hunting down her friends Elliot and Samuel but they refused to give them any information when it came to Ember. They were super protective of her and while the men were glad she had such good friends it was making it difficult to find her to apologize.

She was doing very good to stay off the grid and while they were proud it also infuriated them that she managed to slip through their fingers. They fucked up majorly and they knew it. They tried calling in favors but no one could find her, they all said the same thing, if Corey and Victor couldn't find her then she had gone completely off the grid and gone ghost. This girl was good.

"We wanted to have dinner together," Kota said nervously.

"Well I don't," She glared, "and I can't. I have plans."

"With who?" Kota asked and turned her dagger eyes on him.

"None....of....your....business," She said very slowly and filled with anger. "Don't...talk...to...me."

"Take it easy on them Jess," Erica said chuckling as she came into the living room.

"Why should I?" Jessica asked. "They made me lose my best friend because they are stupid little boys."

"I had no problem with the pictures," Corey held his hands up.

"Da, me like," Raven beamed. "They on walls."

"You shouldn't be mad at all of us Jessica," Victor shook his head.

"I can be mad at anyone I want," She glared at him. "You work as a family so if one of you hurt my friend then all of you hurt my friend."

"How many more times do you want me to say sorry Jess?" North asked sighing.

"Until my best friend suddenly reappears and tells me to my face that she doesn't hate your guts," She shrugged. "Hasn't happened yet so..." She shrugged.

"Come help me Jess," Erica said, "I need help with the food."

Jessica smirked then smiled sweetly, "Alright Momma, I'll be more than glad to help you."

The girls walked into the kitchen and all fourteen men let out a slow sigh, "So anyone else scared to eat now?" Luke asked nervously.

"Momma won't let her do anything to the food," Kota shook his head.

"Can you guarantee Momma will be watching her the entire time?" Marc asked and Kota didn't respond. "Exactly."

"Sure she is still mad at us, but would she really do something to the food to get back at us?" Victor asked looking at Kota.

"It's Jess," Kota sighed, "Anything is possible when it comes to her when she's hurt and pissed. She gets very creative when it comes to revenge. Remember what she did to Gabe's nail polish after he pissed her off?"

"I'm still fucking finding dried up nail polish bottles mixed in with my goddamn collection no matter how many fucking times I go through it," Gabe sighed. "And I still haven't found my favorite fucking ring and earrings. I'm telling you she fucking took them and has them."

"And until you have proof," She smirked coming back into the room, "I will remain innocent." She smiled sweetly, "Dinner is ready, come eat my dear brothers."

They all gulped as they nervously followed her into the dinning room.
