"Where are you trying to go, Baby?" North asked when he walked into the hallway and saw her going down it on crutches.

"Outside," She huffed as she tried to take a few more steps.

"Give me a sec to put this down and I'll help you," he said as he stepped into the living room. He came back into the hallway and gently placed his hand on her lower back.

"I can do it," She glared.

"I know you can," He nodded, "I'm just trying to make it easier on you, that's all. I know you hate these things so I am just trying to make it so you don't have to use them right now."

"Fine," She sighed as she wrapped her arms around how neck. "It's only because I don't want to use them right now."

"I know," He nodded as he gently picked her up. "Are you wanting to go to the gardens?" She nodded, "By the fountain?" She nodded again. He gently sat her down, "There you go."

"Thank you," she said softly.

"You are welcome," He answered, "Do you want me to get your camera?"

"No," She shook her head and he looked at her shocked. "I just don't want to take pictures right now."

"Okay," He said softly and cautiously. "If you change your mind just text me and I'll go get it."

"Okay," She shrugged and he went back inside.

"Something's wrong, Doc," North said as he walked into the kitchen.

"What do you mean?" Sean asked as he looked up from his phone.

"She doesn't want to take pictures of the garden," He admitted.

"Maybe she just wants to relax in the sun for a bit," Axel suggested. "She doesn't have to take pictures every time she's outside."

"Yeah maybe," North sighed, "hopefully she isn't slipping into depression."

"We'll keep an eye on her," Sean said.

"Thanks Doc," North nodded.

The days passed and they soon noticed that North was on to something, she was quieter than her usual self and either stayed in her room or outside with the want to be alone.

"Hey Girl," Jessica and Courtney said as they walked into her room.

"Hey," She smiled softly. "What's up?"

"We were about to go get some lunch," Courtney smiled, "Tomorrow is my last day of internship, so we want to go celebrate. Come celebrate with us."

"I'm not hungry," She shook her head, "Go without me but congratulations."

"Nope," Jessica shook her head and put her hand on her hip. "You need to get out of here and away from all these guys. We need some girl time so come on get dressed, you are coming with us."

"Fine," She sighed and rolled her eyes but they could see some excitement in her eyes.

"Here you go," Courtney said as she came out of the closet with some shorts and an Avenged Sevenfold tank top. "Get dressed."

A few minutes later Jessica opened the door, "One of you buttheads can take her to the car but you better not follow us," She called out.

"Da," Raven nodded as he came into the room. "Up Kitten."

"Yeah, yeah," She sighed as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Call when done," Raven said as he placed her in Jessica's car. "Stay off foot."

"We know Raven," Jessica rolled her eyes. "I'll call one of you when we are done hanging out. No following, I mean it Raven. Do not let Lucian or anyone else following us."

"Da," he nodded. "Won't."

That evening Kota's phone rang, "Hello?"

"You can come get Ember out of the car now," Jessica said as she turned the car off.

"Looks like you've been doing some shopping Princess," Victor smiled as Courtney opened the hood.

"Before you even ask, she stayed off her foot," Courtney said, "She rode one of those mobile cart things around the mall with us."

"Good," Sean said as Silas picked her up. "When did she fall asleep?"

"About thirty minutes ago," Jessica said. "Her leg was starting to bother her so we ended our shopping spree." She opened her wallet, "Here's your card Mr. B," She said as she handed it over. "She let me, well you, buy everything because Core told her we wanted to buy them for celebrating her new album."

"Okay," Owen said as he put his card back in his wallet. "Did you use it for your things as well?"

"Yep," She smiled, "You know I will never pass up an opportunity to use any of your cards instead of mine." She hugged him, "thanks."

"Thank you for getting her out of the house," Kota nodded. "She needed it."
