Ch8: Kiss You

Jess's POV

9:00pm:

"Well it's time for me to leave. Gotta wake up early in the morning, tomorrow. That means I have to get to bed earlier, too." I told everyone.

"Oh, me, too." Louis says looking at his watch.

"Me, three." Harry states, looking glum.

"Why you so sad, Harry?" Liam asks.

"I don't have a ride." he replied. What?

"How did you even get here then?" I ask, cunfuzled.

"Jeremy, but he isn't here anymore. He got bored."

"Oh, and the boys can't give you a ride either?" Evie asks.

"Nope, no room. Except for Niall, but he is going to the theater to work. So much for going to bed early."

"Harry, I would give you a ride, but then I wouldn't have any room in my car because of Evie." I'm sympathetic but seriously. Dramatic much?

"I'll give her a ride since she lives near where I'm going." Niall said.

"Ok, I'll give you a ride, Harry." I say with a smirk. The little connivers. He smiled and I smiled, too.

We go together out to my Lamborghini, and hop in.

"You did a good job at Quiz Bowl." Harry said trying to start up a conversation. I put the key in the ignition, starting the car up.

"Thanks."

"Yep."

"So..-" Just then Harry reached over and turned the radio on. Alrighty then. "Baby I'll take you there, take you there

Lets make a move, yeah" Harry started singing his part, beckoning me to do the same. Fangirling moment. Of course I'm not the best singer but I squawked it out anyways. We sang together as I drove.

"That was fun." I told him. He nodded, smiling. Harry looked at me thoughtfully.

"What is it?" I asked, out of breath.

"Well.. will you let me kiss you?" My breath caught in my throat. I didn't have any time to react as he leaned in and kissed me lightly on the lips. I leaned in when suddenly he yanked away. I made a pouty face.

"Dude you've gotta drive!!" oops! I swiveled my eyes back to the road. Just in time, too. I swerved out of the way as the car in front of me honked.

"Sorry. Almost there?" I asked

"Yeah turn here." He said. I turned into the apartment area, slowly coming to a stop. Holy crap, big.

"Thanks for the ride, love." Harry just called me love?

"Yep." I said in reply. He opened his car door, not before stealing a quick kiss on my cheek. Harry slammed the door and walked away.

I felt where he kissed me. I was warm inside, what was the feeling? Love? Couldn't be. I sat thinking, when I heard a rapping on the window. Outside was a head with a curly mop for hair, Harry, again. I opened my door,"Ya?" I asked.

"Do you wanna come in?"

"Oh, sure." So much for getting to bed early.
