Evie's POV

Today was supposedly going to be exciting. We were having a scavenger hunt in the corn field, and you couldn't see a thing. The three teams were split consisting of Harvie (Harry and me), Niam (Niall and Liam), and the Glittery Swag Bad Bois from Narnia (Zayn, Jess, and Louis).

I was having fun. Harry and I were going through the cornfield exploring and so far so good.

"Harry do you think anybody else has found the next clue for the hunt?" I ask.

"No. We are so much more clever than them." He replies.

"And modest." I mumble, sarcastically.

"What?"

"Nothing." I giggle.

"Well if you're so much smarter than me, I'll race you to the next clue!" He says laughing, and starting a sprint.

"Harry, that isn't fair! You got a head start." I yell, running after him.

I weave through the tall corn stalks trying not to trip in all my graceful glory. Deciding to take a short cut, I take a sharp left, right snack into a body.

"Owww!" I yell as I tumble to the ground and the heavy body lands on top. I look up into beautiful brown puppy dog eyes. Liam.

"Oof! Sorry... Sorry Vel."

"Mind getting off?" I ask. His eyes widen as he try's to scramble off but I realize we are all tangled together. I giggle softly.

Suddenly I hear someone clear their throat. My head whips up. Niall, and he doesn't look happy.

Niall's POV

"We should split up and look for some more clues." I say. Team 'Niam' was not going to work. I knew that for sure.

"But we're supposed to work together..." Liam starts.

"Because everyone knew how well that was going to work. Lets split up and if we find anything we can call each other and make some sort of a meeting point."

"I don't know. Don't you think that it would be easier to come up with answers if we put our heads together?" He asks. He doesn't get it. I can't work with him and he knows he can't work with me either.

"Liam. I'm gonna state this real easy for you. The only thing we would be doing is knocking our heads together.

Liam hesitates, "I guess you're right. But if we get docked points for not working together, this is your fault."

"Of course. You go that way, I'll go this way," I say, heading east, "Meet by that big beat-up tractor over there if you find anything. I walk over cut down stalks and weave through the tall ones. Eventually, I lose my direction and just end up going where my gut tells me.

"Owwww!" I hear a familiar voice cries as the sound of dry stalks crunching reaches my ears. Evie is hurt I've gotta get to her. I walk a little faster, tripping over holes and dead plants. Finally I reach a small clearing but what I see before me is something I'm not expecting. Liam is scrambling about on top of my girl. I hear a soft giggle. Why is she enjoying this?

I clear my throat, making my presence known. "What are you doing?! I leave you be for just minutes and you're already making moves on her! What is your deal!" I yell. I stomp over to their human pile and rip Liam off her body. "Was it that hard to find a clue?"

"Oh so you found a clue?" He asks snarkily.

"No, but I found you on top of Evie!" I say shoving him.
