Ch2: The Big Day

Evie's P.O.V.

"Oh my gosh!!" There's like a million people! Squealed Jessica staring across the crowd.I was freaking out already she just made it a lot worse... "Who's that?" Jess suddenly asked I followed her gaze to the team walking up. Five teenage boys with hair standing straight up except one who had curly hair I recognized them from somewhere but I couldn't put my finger on it. One of the boys walked onstage while the rest sat down, and looked my direction (A/N: funny right direction, you'll find out later) This was driving me crazy! Who are they?!?! Then Jess turned and looked at me like she just saw a celebrity or something. Before she could say anything the microphone cracked to life."Welcome to the Tenth annual High School Quiz Bowl!" The boys in the crowd started cheering while the fifth boy shook his head and glared at them. Soon questions were being thrown at us. Both our teams had 20 points. "Finally for the tie breaker what is the most popular vegetable in the United States?" I hit my buzzer and yelled, "Broccoli!" While one of the sitting boys stood up at the exact same time and yelled "Carrots!" Jessica almost swooned. The announcer glared at him,"The correct answer was leafy greens. Because no one answered correctly, I'm afraid it's a tie." The boy then yelled "No, Jimmy protested!"

"I guess we can have one more question," the announcer muttered. "We' re going to ask another question how about this: What is the famous, Liam Payne's, from One Direction, middle name?"

Liam's P.O.V.

I glanced quickly at that girl with the waist length blond hair and brown highlights and buzzed my buzzer.

"The answer is... um.. WILLIAM!!" Whew, that was very hard to say since I'm a GG and all. I guess I just wanted that team to win. Mostly because of the girl. I glanced over again she had a very cunfuzled look on her face. Suddenly there was a sharp pain in my leg. Jeremy had pinched me, "What the heck! Aren't you supposed to know your own name!" he scream-whispered at me. Oops!

"Other team?" the announcer asked.

"James." their team speaker said. She had chin-length brown hair.

"WINNER! Team Jessevie!"
