@rannahawks again. I am on a road trip and was a little bored so I made a few extra chapters.

Jess POV
3:02 pm
"Finally you're here!" I say as Evie knocks on my door, "You, missy, are two minutes past."
"Sorry I had a hold up with Liam."
"What happened?"
"He came to my house, said he gave up Quiz Bowl for me, and then asked me out. I KNEW I was right, the other day. "I told you. "
"Yeah, I know. And they're One Direction, too." she said, defeated. I smiled. I had won this round. "We should probably get to work."
"Yeah, that might be a good idea. Think about it if we win the one today, we'll only have two more to win before we can get into the tournament!" Evie said excitedly.
We clasped hands and jumped up and down. I can barely wait. I know we will make it.
"Okay, so if we're going to win this one YOU are going to have to learn that broccoli is not the top rated veggie in the US. So first I'm going to start by asking the easy questions. Okay?"
"Kay." she answers.
"What is the most used letter in the alphabet?"
"E!" she yells after she hits the table like a buzzer.
"Correct! What is the most popular vegetable in the United States?"
"BROCCOLI!"
"Wrong! Evie we have to get this one down. We'll come back to it. How many fingers do bats have?"
"FIVE!" again hitting the pretend buzzer.
"Correct! What is the most popular vegetable in the United States?"
"BROCC-"
"Incorrect! Come on Evie you can do this." I say, encouragingly. "Next question. What is the noble gas, discovered in 1898 from the residue of liquid air, that has an atomic number of 54? This one is harder."
"XENON!"
"Correct! In Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice', which important family includes five unmarried daughters?"
"THE BENNETT FAMILY!"
"Correct! What does the Spanish word ―suerte, mean in English.
"LUCK!"
"Correct! Who is Simon Cowell?"
"A FAMOUS JUDGE!"
"Correct! What is the metric equivalent of the U.S. unit of horsepower.
"WATT!"
Correct! What is the most popular vegetable in the United States?"
"BR-CARROTS! Crap no wait. Jess, Louis messed me up!" she said grumpily. I laughed and soon enough she started laughing, too. We laughed until our stomachs hurt and we were crying while rolling on the floor. Just then my phone rung.
"Hello?" I said, answering it.
"Hi, this is Louis, Louis Tomlinson. I just wanted to let you know we were coming to the Quiz Bowl to watch you guys kick butt."
"Oh thanks, see ya there."
"Bye!" then the line was dead.
"The boys are coming to the Quiz Bowl to watch us." I said to Evie.
"CRAP! ITS ALREADY SIX FOURTY-FIVE! WE GOTTA GO!" she yelled.
We ran to my blue Lamborghini as fast as we could. She got in drivers and I got in shotgun and we were off to another Quiz Bowl with One Direction.
