Ch4: Liam

When we were walking home from lunch, I could feel the anger rolling off Jess in waves.

"So..." I started but Jess cut me off, "Liam looks into you."

"What! No way!"I said but she cut me off again.

"And Niall is so into you."

"I'm the only one who can keep up with him while eating."

"Keep up? Girl you passed him!" "Hey, I love Nandos you got a problem with that?"

"Whoa! Breathe Evie, I'm only kidding."

"I beat him though." But Jess was still angry, I could tell sure sometimes or a lot of the time but she was seriously angry. " Jess what's up?" "Nothing, just two smokin' hot guys are hitting on my best friend not to mention they're One Direction!" Jess practically yelled.

"Jess they aren't One Direction, and they don't like me."

"Evie, then you're clueless. They are One Direction and you'd better believe it."

"Whatever."

We went our separate ways to our separate houses. Both deep in thought.

5 minutes later:

As I walked into my house, I thought about what Jess said. Do Niall and Liam seriously like me? Yeah right they'd like me. I walked into my room and I stared at my posters. I love One Direction. Then I looked at them real hard. I saw something I recognized: gorgeous blue eyes bolnde hair and.....OH MY GOSH IT'S Niall, Niall Horan My Niall! Then I screamed. They were all from One Direction!

The next morning:

My phone buzzed quietly in my pocket. It was a text from Liam.

Hey Beautiful come outside.

I rolled my eyes, wasn't Harry supposed to be the flirt? How he got my number or my address I have no idea. I walked outside and saw Liam standing on my doorstep."Hey Liam!" I said as I walked towards him.

"Evie, can I ask you a question?" "Yeah, Liam what's up?" I guess those 15-20 minutes really got us all close.

"I have a friend who gave up something important for a girl he barely even knew. Now all his friends are mad at him. See, I don't know what to do."

"I don't know. Gosh! Oh I'm so sorry, Liam."

"It's you Evie. I gave the Quiz Bowl up for you!" I stared in shock. Liam Payne from One Direction likes me? I guess Jess was right.

"Um.." Was all I could say. "Please, go out with me." I didn't know what to say between his beautiful voice and eyes, I was stunned. "Please, please I gave up the Quiz Bowl for you my team, and mates hate me I know I just met you but please."

My phone buzzed delaying my answer. It was a text from Jess.

Remember Quiz Bowl practice at my place in 5 minutes.

"I gotta go, I'm sorry Liam. I'll get back to you on that." I yell over my shoulder as I get into my black C30 Volvo. I revved the engine and was on my way. Boy, is this day going to be an adventure.
