It was the end of the day at school. A couple more days had passed, quite quickly Dari may add. He'd been doing training with the Dragons as they prepared him for his first formal job with them. Damon had been just as creepy as usual, Dari thought. Dari was spending more and more time alone in his room, barely heading downstairs for food because he had too much on his mind. He couldn't eat without thinking about the consequences that may follow Ddaeng after what happened with Yuri. He was still thinking about how Damon took advantage of both himself and Ddaeng. Dar was walking home with his cousins, Ru and Kyushi, along with his younger sister, Vee. Vee had cut her hair shorter, and was contemplating dying it.

"Go for it. I think purple will suit you." Kyushi said to her as she played with locks of her hair.

"No, I think blue will look better on her." Dari said, pointing to his head of dark blue hair. Vee scoffed at him. Akaru rolled his eyes.

"Of course you of all people will recommend blue." Ru smirked, holding his heavy book bag with one arm. He didn't look as though he was struggling,

"How are you holding that?" Kyushi asked him. Ru looked at him and rolled his eyes.

"With my arm. How else?" Ru snapped back. Kyushi opened his mouth to argue, but Dari shot him a look. Kyushi changed the topic after being shut down by Ru.

"Tanaka-san's daughter just asked me out. I think I'll say no, she has that bitchy friend.." Kyu started.

"Yeah, and I don't think you'd wanna date our math teacher's daughter." Dari said, still deep in thought.

"What's wrong? You look lost. Something on your mind?" Kyu asked him. Ru peeked up front, walking up from the back. Vee looked at him curiously as well.

"No, it's just-- stress I guess. Midterms and such. March sucks." They all walked in through the front door, to the delicious smell of Satoro's cooking. It smelled amazing, like sweet and sour chicken, stir fried veggies, and basil.

"Damn that smells good, lemme go help him out." Dari said, dropping his bag and running to go help Satoro (even though he was probably already done cooking) to avoid more questions. He was exhausted, and hated answering questions, especially when they were stupid.

"Eiyah!" Satoro exclaimed, looking Dari up and down, studying him. He looked Dari in the face.

"You look like shit!" Satoro hit Dari's chest playfully. Dari smirked softly.

"I know, thank you." Dari washed his hands in the kitchen sink. As Satoro put the water to boil to make noodles, Dari snatched a small piece of chicken that Satoro had already finished cooking, hoping he wouldn't see.

"Put it back, you greedy piece of shit." Satoro said, barely looking at Dari, focusing on the food. Dari threw it into his mouth quickly.

"Needs salt." Dari grinned. Satoro threw a hand towel at him hard.

"I'm kidding! It's perfect. How'd you even see that?" He kissed Satoro on the cheek, as Satoro was still red with fury.

"Magic, bitch." Satoro stirred a pot with a wooden spoon, and turned around to face Dari.

"You know, I don't know why Ju-Sheng couldn't just live with us. Why'd he have to go and get a whole ass apartment? He's so fucking extra." Satoro leaned back on the counter, waiting for the water to get hot enough to put in the noodles.

"Ju-Sheng is a goddamn bitch. Did he really hate us that much?" Dari remarked. Satoro itched his heart tattoo on the side of his neck.

"For real. So how's your girlfriend? The cute short one?" Satoro asked, wiping sweat from his forehead. Dari hesitated to answer, because he knew it didn't end that great.
