Eight years ago Betty and Jughead left Riverdale, planning to start their new life somewhere new and away from the horrors of the town with pep. They both attended the same college, sharing a dorm for their time there. And after college they moved into a small but lovely two bedroom house, using the money that Jughead got from his bestseller. Betty got a job as a local journalist at their local newspaper, and they were happy. Extremely happy when they got married a year later.
Though they were even happier when Betty found out she was pregnant after the wedding. The pregnancy had gone smoothly - there had been no issues, and thankfully they weren't expecting twins like Polly had been. Though they didn't know the gender, they had wanted to have that as a surprise. The baby's due date had been October nineteenth, though on the morning of Jughead's birthday, a week before the due date, Betty's water breaks, and instead of having his birthday at home, it's spent at the hospital with her having their baby.
