(3rd person's pov)

Saiki drops you off at your house and begins to head home. He couldn't help but replay the events that had happened earlier. Did he seriously suggest you calling him by his first name? He didn't know why he even suggested that to you.

He enters his house immediately being greeted by his mom. "Ku! Are you back from your date?" His mother asked happily as if shes never seen her child go out before.

Saiki just ignored his mother and teleported to his room without eating dinner. He closed his eyes but couldn't stop thinking about the afternoon.

'Oh my god, did he suggest me calling him by his first name?! Does this mean we are friends now? I don't call anyone by their first name other than Kokomi and family...'

You were lying awake on your bed just thinking about the previous events because for some reason you just couldn't stop thinking about it.

Monday

The commotion around the school could be heard across Japan. Everyone was rushing around finishing the final preparations.

Y/n and the other maids headed to the girls locker room to get into their maid uniforms. Kokomi couldn't help but continually ask Y/n about what happened while studying.

Y/n had to continually confirm that nothing happened in order to get the poor girl to calm down. Y/n had no idea why her friend was acting this way.

All the girls turned their heads to door after hearing a small knock. Hurry up, we need you in the café. All the girls took this as a cue to hurry up.

Y/n looked embarrassingly at the mirror. She looked herself over, over and over again. Trying to remind herself why she was doing this. 'It's for the school, lets just get this over with.' And with that she head off.

She headed into the class and trying to get into the role. She put her best smile on and tried to be friendly. A lot of students from the school visited, mostly being occupied looking at Kokomi.

'Ugh, at this point all we need is Kokomi, why do the rest of us have to be here?' All she's experienced so far were a few creeps, some guys just trying to eat a meal, and a bunch of Terhuashi fan club members.

Y/n almost had a heart attack when she saw her mother walk through the door. "Oh? Y/n, I had no clue you were into stuff like this!" My mother laughed teasingly.

Y/n couldn't help but get embarrassed by her mothers remark so she just laughed it off and brought her mom to a table.

     "What would you like to eat?" Y/n asked her mom trying not to pass out from embarrassment. "I'll have the omelette rice." Your mother says as you nod.

     You head back with the food in your hands and almost bump into Kusuo. "Ah! Sorry Kusuo. I didn't see you there." You apologize and continue on your way.

     Strangely, he also follows you. "Here you go, anything else?" You ask as you notice your mother avert her eyes to Kusuo. "Oh Saiki! Doesn't my daughter look awesome?" Your mother asks and the poor guy just nods.

You look at your mother in horror. 'Did my mother seriously just ask him that?!' You wanted to run out of the room and fall into a river and drown but you just closed your eyes and smiled.

    After your shift was over, you walked out of the classroom, intending to get something to drink from the vending machine. You head towards the vending machines and realize... 'I forgot my wallet?!' Started to get frantic and if you looked back on ho dramatic you were, you would die.

    'Oh my god, I'm going to die from thirst.' 'All they're going to find is my shrivelled up body.' 'I'm so thirstyyyy, I'm going to die!' Saiki was starting to get annoyed.

    Not being able to stand you, he went towards the vending machine and gave you three 100 yen coins. 'Did he just....?' You look down at the coins and back at Saiki. You couldn't help but feel a smile start to grow.

  Unfortunately Kokomi saw the whole thing. She just looked at you with expression you've never seen before. You were confused and wondered. 'Maybe she just wanted to use the machine?'  "Uhm, Kokomi, you can use the machine first if you would like?" You asked.

     Kokomi just shook her head and walked away. 'Was it something I did..?' You wondered you grab your drink and he's back into the room to continue your shift.

After school

   You were currently laying on your back in the middle of your room on the floor. You were thinking about everything that happened today.

  You were still confused about the situation with Kokomi since you felt that she might want some time to herself, you couldn't help but shake the feeling that you were losing you friend.

     So you did the first thing you thought of, you called Saiki.

   After pressing call, you were internally panicking. 'Why did I do that. WHY'- You weren't able to continue your internal monologue as you heard someone pick up.

  "...Hello?" You said nervously to what he would say.

HAHAHA, I'm going to leave you guys on a cliff hanger as i decided that one chapter per week would be better for me and you guys, as it would help me have better chapters to publish and I would feel less stressed. Bye!!
