I'm gonna get angsty because I can :)

I know I haven't updated in like a month but I have a bunch of angsty chapters coming soon, this is just a filler chapter to lead up to them!  (Also this is very rushed as I'm on vacation rn!) -love the author xoxo

Y/n sat in her room. Not doing anything specific, she just sat in her room. She gazed at the ceiling above her. "That's it I'm going to the cafe! I'll save up my allowance another time." She said spot herself as she half walked runner out of her room.

She tossed on a jacket and grabbed her keys as to not repeat her past mistakes of getting locked outside of the house and having to wait until her parents got back. She ran to the cafe, just making it in barely 10 minutes before it closed.

"Wait! I need to get one final pastry before you close!" She managed to get out between heavy breathes. The waitress nodded and led her to a table. "I'll have one [favorite pastry] please!" The waitress quickly scribbled it down and headed off.

It was a few days after school ended for summer. Y/n had no plans to go anywhere so she just stayed home for most of the time. 'Huh, it's raining a surprising amount during summer.' She thought to herself as she looked out the window noticing raindrops falling off the leaves, 'I really hope it doesn't rain today.' She kept looking out the window to distract her from her own thoughts. "Here's your [favourite pastry]! Enjoy." The sound of the plate clattering onto the table stopped her train of thoughts.

She started walking home and felt a light drip fall onto her head. 'drip drip' she looked up at the sky and noticed the grey, moody, rain clouds. 'Crap' She started running, and the faster she ran the faster the rain drops came down, she was soaked. Her hair, clothes, everything was wet.

Y/n was so focused on running she didn't notice the very obvious rock on the road. She fell. As she landed on the ground (it's VERY hard btw, from personal experience) she noticed the blood beneath her start to get bloody. "Ow" she got up, brushed herself off(or the best she can while soaked) and continued walking just to see a certain alien looking dude. He was holding an umbrella and walked her way.

Y/n was confused, ten minutes ago she was in the rain and Saiki walked up to her, gave her his umbrella, and told her to follow him. And now she is talking to his mother while he's upstairs doing who knows what. "Mrs.Saiki, I'm so sorry for intruding! I really should go though." She said while bowing. "Oh don't be silly! Your always welcome here!" Mrs.Saiki said unbothered. So that's how this happened. She's sleeping in the guest room at Saikis house.

As y/n woke up she quickly noticed nobody was awake yet, (little did she know Kusuo was also awake.) she went downstairs and wrote a small note saying: "Dear Mrs and Mr Saiki, thank you for letting me stay here and I express my utmost gratitude to you and your family, I left this morning and headed back to my house. Sincerely, y/n."

She started to walk out, she gathered her clothes and slipped on her shoes and was about to open the door when she heard someone walk down the stairs, she turned around to see Kusuo. "Oh, hey Kusuo, I'm just about to leave. Have a good day." She said then bowed. Wait. She was surprised that he even said anything at all. "Hm?" Was all she bothered to get out. She turned around and saw him handing her back her notebook. You left this at school on the last day of school. "Ah, thank you! I was wondering where it went." Then she left for real.
