Chapter 6: Freak of Nature

Pandora got energy from the Kingdom. She was done being the good guy. "Yalus Rapnus, sorus ranto!" Let out a big burst of energy that killed everything in the Area. The magical alarm system went off when everyone in the house except for the staff, and Soterio was killed. The Manor was protected by dark magic and a force field was cast over the estate that made everything inside of it a red-ish color. Pandora barged in through the front doors. "I am your new queen!" Pandora announced. "You will all listen to everything I say!" She realized she forgot to get her training bottle. It was right outside of the forcefield. The bottle contained magic that helped Pandora control her powers. When she went to get it, She couldn't move past a certain point. The box was right past the sign that had risen up from the ground, it said 'Death Valley' . She was banging on the force field. She tried to use her powers to break it. It was too powerful. She screamed and cried and fell down to the floor. She was a murderer, she was broken, she couldn't be fixed. You can't break something that is already broken.

Current time...

Ella was torn. She didn't know what to do. She sneakily pushed the cube farther into the box. She couldn't kill her best friend. She decided she would cheat, so that Ava would automatically win and survive. She broke the box on the table and the doll looked up. "What are you doing, friend?" Dolly's voice distorted as it said friend. Dolly leaped out at Ella. "Ella! What are you doing!" Ava exclaimed. "I would never kill my best friend." Ella said. Dolly was now sitting on Ella's stomach. She lifted her left arm (The one with the hook on it.) It pierced Ella in the middle of her stomach. "I love you Ava... I'll miss... you..." Ella was gone. Ava grabbed the stone and tried to shoot Dolly with it. Dolly took off and ran through the hole in the door. She made a screeching sound and hooked Jessie in her stomach. She bolted off and went somewhere in the castle. "Jessie!" Elijah yelled. He went over to her. She was in a pool of blood on the floor. Dolly tore her from her stomach to her chest. Her and Ella were now both dead by the fate of Dolly. They needed to get rid of her as soon as possible, or else a lot more of them would die. "She's dead. That doll thing killed her. Ava walked out of the room with a stone covered in blood. She had been crying over Ella and got blood all on her dress. Her dress looked like it had a red fade at the bottom of it, and the bottom of it had been torn off. Her hair looked like it had been teased, and wasn't curled anymore, and her mascara had been smudged from when she was wiping away her tears. "Eh-Eh-Eh..." Ava said, while ugly crying. "...La-la-la" "...Is dead!" "She died for me!" She hugged Jobe and was crying on his right shoulder's epaulet. Jobe mouthed to Soterio, "Could you bring a box of tissues?" Soterio went to a room next to theirs and brought over a box of tissues. "Here." Jobe handed the box to her and she blew her nose. "C'mon, I'm gonna break that stupid doll." Ava said. She was mad. Very, very mad. They went down to the lobby to put the next Mythic stone into the box and as usual, its eyes, and cracks, and runes glowed the same color as the stone that they just put into the box, then turned back to its original red color. The circus music had stopped playing about an hour ago and now began to start again. They thought that they would go back to the circus tent to see if the music had anything to do with that. It did, but instead of them hearing people talking, and laughing and having fun like last time. They heard people booing at something. They opened the curtain at the entrance to the tent and walked inside. There was a green man with two tentacles for arms, and had patches of scal-ey skin on his face. He had sharp teeth, no eyebrows, no shirt. Just brown baggy pants. He was walking a tightrope, when someone threw a drink at him and called him a freak, making him fall to the ground. There was no safety net or anything so he just hit the floor. They felt bad. That guy from earlier in the big top hat was there again. He was holding a rod that was orange at the top, and every time he would fall, he would touch the orange part to his skin, and it would burn him.  The last time they were at the tent there was a sign that said, Welcome to the Circus! There was a new sign now, Buy your tickets for the freak show! They went inside and sat down on the bleachers. A paper fell down in Brodie's lap. It said that one of them would have to get the rod from the circus master and kill Dolly with it, but the rod would cool every 10 minutes, and when that happened they would have to go down where the Adalyn died and put it in the heat chamber for 30 seconds that was in that same room. It would then be heated again and would be able to be used. They needed the hook from Dolly's hand because that is the only thing that can kill the Circus master. The Circus master has the stone in his hat so when they killed him they could take it, but first they had to find Dolly. Ava threw a cup to the other side of the circus tent. The circus master dropped the rod because the noise scared him. Lily picked up the rod and they all ran to the back tent. The circus master saw that his rod was missing. "Where is my rod!" He yelled. He went to the back to see if he could find the people who took the rod from him. Lily and the others crawled down through the trapdoor in the left tent connected to the main circus tent, and accidentally slipped on Adalyn's head. The circus master ran to them when he heard the noise. Lily was holding in tears when Soterio used his magic to make them all invisible for a while. The circus master went down and looked around. He found nothing so he left. Lily dipped the rod in the heat chamber for 30 seconds and they ran out of the tent through the entrance when he went into the right circus tent so that he wouldn't see them. They heard a noise in the workshop so they ran to it. Dolly was waiting for them. Lily got the hot rod and touched dolly with it as dolly tried to hook her. Dolly fell and Ava took the hook off her arm. The 8 of them ran to the circus and Ava swung the hook at the circus master. It impaled him in his chest, and he died instantly. Even though he was dead, Ava got on top of him and stabbed him with it again, and again, and again. The green man who they assumed was "The Freak" for this show walked over to them. "Thank you!" He said. "He's tortured me for centuries! For this gracious act I will give you something that will help you." The Freak reached his tentacles out and was holding a box with a hole on the top of it that looked like it could hold something in it. "If you find the gemstone that needs to be placed in here, you will be able to bring one of the people who died tonight back to life." "Are you serious?" Jobe said. "Yes, but if you don't want i-" The Freak was interrupted. "Oh no we want it." Elijah said. He grabbed it from him and The Freak walked away. They all went back to the lobby after taking the next mythic stone from the Circus Masters hat. Brodie opened the box and put the stone inside. It closed and as usual the cracks and creases and eyes and runes of the box glowed a green color when they shut it. "We only need 3 more stones, and then you all can finally leave." "There's hope for you!" Soterio said. Pandora appeared. "Do you think that you can just cheat the system?" "You think you all can just be diddley and dadley and get away with it?" She took her blade out of her back pocket and eyed Elijah because he was the first person she saw. "Well you can't." She charged at Elijah and put the blade onto his neck. She pulled the blade right, Elijah made a choking sound as he fell to the floor. "One of you has to die! You can't cheat me!" "I am doing this for my God. He will let me free if I follow his instructions." Pandora said. "Your lives are a small price for what I have planned for this world." Pandora disappeared and everyone ran to Elijah's body. Jobe checked his pulse. "He's gone." He said. "Pandora! I hate you! I hate you Pandora!" Ava yelled. She fell to the ground in tears.
