Defeated

Chapter Two

Rose's P.O.V

I was sitting next to Andrea on the carriage. My mind went to the Quidditch World Cup that the Weaselys took me to. Mrs. Weasley told me that Fred and George begged for me to go with them.

"Rose," I heard someone say, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up to see my favorite place in the world. Hogwarts. I was so overwhelmed with happiness, I couldn't help myself from jumping up and down with joy. Everyone stared at me and started to laugh. By now, I was pretty used to it. I was usually the class clown. The carriage suddenly lurched forward and I fell down onto the ground. I laughed awkwardly, trying to play off my clumsiness.

"Steady there, love," Fred grinned and offered me his hand. I took it, and he pulled me back up to the carriage. Andrea rolled her eyes at me playfully. I muttered a quick thanks and sat back down. When we pulled up I jumped up and ran ahead of my friends."Excuse me,sorr-oof"I knocked into somebody hard and fell.

"Watch where you're going mudblood" Somebody said in a foul manner.

"For your information i'm a half-blood, also you shouldn't say that to people." I said that and ran into the Great Hall and was one of the first people to sit down.

I saw Hermione come in the hall with Andrea next to her. Then one of my best friends, besides Andrea, Laurie walked in and sat next to me.

"Whats up, Rose?" She asks playing with her long, blonde hair.

"Nothing much. How was your break?" I asked.

"It was so fun! I went to Fiji! What did you do?" she asked.

"I went to the Quidditch world cup with Fred and George," I answered.

"Ooh, with Fred and George you say?" she teased. She knew I had a big crush on Fred. I'm sure he likes Angelina Johnson, not me.

"So what did you do?" She asked ,wiggling her eyebrows.

"Nothing much, just deatheaters trying to kill us all," I said sarcastically.

"Have you seen the newest Doctor Who episode?" I asked, being the nerd I am.

"Whats Doctor Who?" I heard Fred say from behind me.

"Its a Muggle T.V. show about a guy who has a big, blue box called the TARDIS and he can travel anywhere in Time and Space." I answered.

"Oh, okay cool." he said with a perplexed face.

"May I have everyone's attention please?" A voice boomed around the Hall.
