Andrea's P.O.V.
Autumn went by quickly, and Christmas was now just around the corner, along with the Yule Ball. Rose and I had become close with Draco over the months, just as planned. The reality of the mission began to weigh down on me, because now there was only a few days until we went to the Malfoy Manor. And, naturally, Draco still hadn't even invited us over yet.Thankfully, the Yule Ball was a great distraction for me, even though I was incredibly nervous about the dance too.
"Earth to Andrea," Caroline nudged me playfully, bringing me back to reality. My eyes snapped wide open, realizing that I had completely zoned out in the middle of lunch.
"Oh, sorry," I mumbled.
"Rose wants you," Caroline said, pointing to the energetic Gryffindor, who was currently waving her arms around in an attempt to get my attention. I laughed slightly, and got up out of my seat. "Thanks for the heads up."
"No problem," Caroline said, and I walked over to Rose and her other Gryffindor friends at their lunch table. I sat down in the empty space next to Rose.
"Hullo," I greeted.
"George wants to ask you something," Rose winked at me. My eyes went to the red head, who's cheeks were almost as red as his hair.
"Will you go to the Yule Ball with me?" George asked. Fred wolf whistled, shoving his twin jokingly.
"Sorry George," I shrugged my shoulders, "I already have ten boys asking."
"Really?" his face fell.
"Wow you actually believed that?" Rose scoffed.
"Huh?" George asked, confused, blushing even more.
"Of course I'll go with you," I told George with a soft smile. His face brightened once more.
"Hate to break up the moment, but Malfoy is coming," Fred, who didn't much like the Slytherin, muttered. Rose and I both shot our eyes up to our incoming friend. Even though we were technically told to befriend the blonde boy, we had both become quite fond of him
"Am I interrupting?" Draco asked, sticking his head in between Rose and I.
"Well actually-" Fred started sharply.
"Great!" Draco ignored Fred easily, something he had much practice at. "I would like to talk to you girls in private, if I may."
"Sure," Rose said quickly, hopping up. I followed her lead, then the three of us went out to the halls.
"Something wrong?" I asked Draco.
"Not at all," he smiled slightly, "I'd like to invite you two to my manor for a Christmas party."
"Brilliant!" Rose grinned hugely at the invite. Perfect, I thought to myself, just what we wanted.
"Sounds smashing," I said to Draco.
"By the way, it'll be us, Crab and Goyle, and some of my parent's friends," Draco told us.
"Sweet," Rose said, "Thanks so much for inviting us."
"Yeah, you're amazing," I added on.
"Thank you," Draco blushed slightly, then walked away, back to his lunch table.
"Well that worked out perfectly," said under my breath when Draco was out of sight.
"Totally," Rose agreed.
"Hey Rose," I elbowed my best friend lightly, "Do you have a crush on Drac?" I asked lightly, using our pet name for Draco.
"No," Rose said a bit too quickly. I raised my eyebrows at her in a teasing manner. "Besides, I have a date to the Yule Ball."
"Really?" I asked, shocked since this was the first time I was hearing of this, "Who?"
"Well, Fred," Rose informed me.
"Oh my God we're going with twins," I laughed and hugged Rose out of excitement.
I can't wait for the Yule Ball, I thought happily to myself as Rose and I walked back to the dining hall.
