Tobias,s POV.

I see Christina doing people's makeup.

Okay, Tobias be brave and be nice to her.

"Hey," I say tapping her shoulder.

"Hey". She says awkwardly.

I'm not good when it comes to being polite.

Just say what I say and do what I tell you to do ok.

Okay, here I go.

Say listen I don't think we spend enough time together.

" Listen I don't think we spend enough time together."

"Really," she says, "I think we spend too much time together.
"Okay, I'm serious I want to be your friend".

I didn't tell you to say that what are you doing.

Shut up you idiot I'm talking here.

"Oh really because I think you just want to be friends so Tris will like you but guess what your a player and I will not let you break Tris's heart".

Now make up an excuse hurry up.

"Yeah maybe I do like her but that's not the only reason I want to be your friend".

"You like her. like like her. like like her like her."

"I don't know what that means but yes I like her like like her."

She puts a hand over her mouth and starts squealing.
She pulls my arm and I don't even know where we're going.

Wow you actually did it I thought she was going to slap you I know I would've if I could.

But you can't haha I have a body and you don't.

Well, at least I have the sense that you don't have.

Burn you're good I mean I'm roasted.

Thanks mate. Hey, can I have a name?

Because I'm not human but I can have a name right.

Uhh, sure I'll call you Theo.

"Umm okay, so you need some practice if you want to date my BFF. So maybe dress better and have manners. Also, I need you to follow my plan unless you want this relationship to end before it's even started".

I just nod. I'm confused with what she said.

"So how do I act around a girl."

She shrugs "I don't know do what you usually do when you like a girl and flirt the way you always do. I mean you are a player."

I gulp. She's Candor and she's going to know that I'm an 18-year-old guy who had his first kiss last night".

"How many girls have you dated Tobias."

"None" I mumble. "What was that," she asks raising her eyebrows.

"I never actually had a girlfriend, I had my first kiss last night,".

She laughs. "Wait so all this time you've never kissed a girl, not even a guy".

I look down at my hands. I'm going to cry.
I know I'm going to cry.

My lip wobbles.

Come on man don't cry it's not your fault that you haven't kissed a girl before. It's natural.

Really. I think so happy that I'm not weird.

Yeah, it's natural when you're ugly which your not so you must be gay because that would make sense.

"I'm not gay".

"I never said you were". Christina says confused.

"Anyway so here is the plan".
