It has been a week since Loki met Caroline at the ball. Despite him being a Mikaelson, who were her biggest enemies mostly klaus, Caroline couldn't help but feel attracted to him. Why couldn't she? He was handsome, funny and charismatic. Just like klaus.
While sitting at mystic grills, Loki thought about his past. Loki grew up with 6 younger siblings. When he was 5 years old, his younger twin sister, Freya was taken away by their aunt. The deal that his mother made with her sister was that she would give both children to her, but the ancestors warned her, telling her that Loki would ruin her life if she take him. Finn was 4 at the time and Elijah was still in the womb. Even at a young age, Loki knew that he would never see his sister again unless fate decides otherwise. He hated his mother ever since that day.
As Loki sat by himself, drinking a glass of bourbon, a darkheaded woman approached him with a seductive smile on her face. Loki returned her smile. "Hello, love, what can I help you with?" She tucked her dark hair behind her ear.

"I saw you sitting alone and thought you needed some company." she stared at him, dark eyes glistening with lust. "Oh really...Carina?" Carina rolled her eyes in annoyance. "How did you know it was me, you haven't seen me in 500 years." the vampire groaned. Loki shrugged. "It was not that hard." he grinned sarcastically at his ex girlfriend. Carina shook her head and chuckled. "Still the same as ever, Lo?" "I try, thanks darling."
"Anyone caught your eyes?" Carina asked after a while. Loki nodded as he thought about Caroline Forbes. A dreamy smile spread on his face. "Shes cute, a blonde." he replied. Although it has only been a week since they met, Loki found himself liking her and he rarely liked people. Infact, Carina is one of the people he likes. Loki met Carina 500 years ago when she was 16. He came to her small italian village for business. When Carina saw him, she quickly became enamored with him. Loki also felt the same about her thus, they started a secret affair. Carina was warned to stay away from him, because when Loki came to town, lot of people started dying. They were found with vampire bites on their necks and people started suspecting Loki. Rumours were going all around the village, saying that the new man was a vampire. When Carina heard these rumours, she confronted him and Loki had no choice but to admit it. But because she was too madly in love with him, Carina stayed with him and pleaded with him to turn her into a vampire so that they could be together forever. But their affair was eventually found out by Carina's father. Loki was shunned and accused of using his 'Vodoo' to woo her. Loki was banned from the village and that was the last time he saw her.
