"Tonight's pick is a century old waltz. So if all you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ball room." Elijah Mikaelson announced as music began to play. The first person Loki danced with was a woman in her early to late 40s. "Carol Lockwood." the woman introduced herself. Loki smirked. He brought her hand closer to him and kissed it. "Loki Mikaelson. Nice to meet you, darling." he flirted without shame. The moment he introduced himself, Carol knew he was related to the family, but how? She had a weird feeling like she had met him before. Before she could even ask anything, the dance was over and Loki switched to his next partner, Caroline. "Well there, hello love." he grinned at Caroline who blushed. She looked beautiful. She was wearing the azure dress Niklaus had gifted her and the jewelries from Loki. Loki grinned when he saw the purple pendant he gifted her on her delicate neck. Caroline's beautiful features suddenly turned into a frown. She was staring at something or someone. Caroline watched in jealousy as Niklaus danced with a red head woman. Loki followed her gaze and chuckled. He turned to look at Caroline and whispered. "That is Amelia. She is a vampire and she really likes Nik, but don't worry, doll. He only likes you. so do i." Caroline blushed. "How would that work? if you both like me?" she asked. Loki shrugged. "Im not the type to share, but with Nik, maybe." Loki spinned her around and she smashed into his chest. Their faces were very close like they were about to kiss, but Niklaus snatched her out of his grip and threw a smug smirk at him. Loki glared. He switched partners and this time, it was the same redhead Niklaus was with, Amelia. "What do we have here?" Amelia glared at him. "Just shut up." she grumbled.

Before she could say anything, the music stopped. Esther came descending the stairs. Loki went to join his family up the stairs where they were waiting for the announcement.
