"Im happy to say that my family are back together after so many years. And to that, I raise a toast." She said as everyone raised their glass to a toast.
Loki caught Finn's glance who nodded and shook his head at the rest of their siblings, signaling that they shouldn't drink it.
Before the ball, Finn pulled Loki somewhere where the others can't hear them and told him Esther's plan.
As it turned out, Esther wanted to link all of them together, using the doppenglanger's blood which would be put in their drinks.
However, that was not the most shocking part.
Loki knew Finn was working with their mother, but when Finn revealed that he was the sacrifice, Loki was horrified and couldn't speak.
And it was not easy to render Loki Mikaelson speechless.

Elijah shot Finn a questioning look.
Loki was the closest to him, so he whispered in a low voice.
"Don't drink it, tell the others that. I will explain later."
Although confused, Elijah obeyed and told their other siblings.
But they didn't want their mother to suspect them, so they faked drinking it.

"You are telling us that mother is trying to kill us by linking us together and Finn was going to be the lamb?!"
Niklaus shouted.
They were in their mother's study room where Loki casted a privacy spell to make sure no one could hear them.
"No, she is going to eat him." Loki said sarcastically. "Of course, Finn was going to be sacrificed. The moment the spell works, we are all going to die including the vampires we sired."
"What do we do, brothers?" Rebekah asked.
Loki grinned.
"Do what we do best, sister. Kill her."
Kol and Klaus seemed on board with the idea, but the others looked reluctant.
"But still, shes our mother. She gave us life and we are taking hers away."
Kol sneered.
"She is trying to kill us. Do you want to die? If so, sister, I grant you the permission, just don't involve us."
"Shut up, nobody is going to die."
Loki snapped. He turned to Rebekah.
"Sister, I love you, I really do, but im not going to let you die. Not on my watch."
Elijah spoke up after a while of contemplating .
"Im in."
Loki grinned manically.
"Who said you had a choice?"
Rebekah stared at him incredulously.
"Lijah, what the hell? I thought you were noble, are you seriously okay with killing mother?"
"What do you except, sister? She's trying to kill us! I am not ready to die before Niklaus' redemption."
Klaus groaned.
"This again? I told you, I can't be redempted. Not by anyone or anything."
Loki snorted.

he muttered.
Niklaus heard him.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing. I said nothing, baby bro."
