LEE POV
We were traveling down the road and we come to see a train blocking our path.
Me, Kenny, and Ben get out of the RV and approach it.
Ben: Is there any way to get around it.
Kenny: Doesn't look like it. On foot, maybe. Can't really afford to do that now.
Lee: This seems like a safe area. All this brush will stop anything from creeping up on us.
Y/N POV
My eyes flutter open and I wake up to see Carley's still asleep on my lap with her back pressed up against me. I take my hands off Carley's stomach and genteelly turn her head to the side and give her a nice soft kiss. Carley slowly wakes up.
Carley: Uhhh.
Y/N: Morning mom.
Carley: Morning kiddo.
Y/N: How's your head?
Carley: Better but it still hurts.
Y/N: If you need anything just ask.
Carley: I will.
Y/N: How did you sleep? The second time.
Carley chuckles.
Carley: First one wasn't pleasant but the second one was great. I was really comfy. You rubbing my tummy really knocked me out though.
Y/N: Really?
Carley then puts her hand on the hand I'm rubbing her tummy with.
Carley: Really.
Y/N: Good to know. Oh by the way I forgot to mention earlier Duck got bit.
Carley: What?
Y/N: Yeah. It happened when we escaped the motel.
Carley: That's terrible.
Y/N: I know. Everyone is outside I'm gonna go check what's going on.
Carley: I'll come with you.
Y/N: You sure you're feeling up to it?
Carley: Yeah.
Y/N: I can carry you.
Carley: As much as I'd like that I'm fine.
Y/N: Okay but that means no more belly rubs for now.
Carley: I know but you can give me more later.
Carley gets up off my lap and stands up but loses her balance but I catch her and prevent her from falling.
Y/N: I got you.
Carley: Thanks.
I pick up Carley bridal style and carry her to the front of the RV and we notice a train blocking our way.
Y/N: Cool train.
Carley: Yeah.
I carry Carley over to a rock and place her down then peck her on the lips.
Y/N: I love you.
Carley: I love you too.
Lee walks up to us.
Lee: Hey bud.
Y/N: Hey Lee.
Lee: How you feeling Carley?
Carley: Okay I guess. She must've hit me hard huh?
Lee: Yeah she knocked you flat.
Carley: Yeah...
