"What the fuck!" She yelled, immediately closing her fists and swinging them at the culprits face, hoping for some sort of higher ground. She quickly felt her fist meet a face — a nose to be exact, and a crack. The person swiftly let go of her, their hands cupping their face as they groaned. Licia spun around, planting her feet then raising her hands into fists again, ready to counter whatever they had coming for her."Ouch man" they groaned and stumbled back as Licia's vision focused on their attire; bright red and a fully spandex suit.
She rolled her eyes and muttered beneath her breath, "asshole".
"How am I the ass?!" Spider-Man shrieked, his voice almost braking at the pitch it was at, one hand had him leaning onto a wall for support whilst the other was prodding his mask, whereabouts his nose was.
"I- I can't feel my nose.. I CAN'T FEEL MY NOSE!" He yelled, suddenly freaking out.
"You shouldn't feel this then," The girl raised her hand again, and struck him across the face. His hand was now frozen, as he stood like a statue with his hand resting on his cheek.
"FUCK" he screamed again, "WHAT IN GODS- WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"
A sly grin grew on her face as she shrugged nonchalantly, "you're nose looks a bit more normal now" Spider-Man looked down at her as his head fell into his hands and he slowly fell back onto a bricked wall behind him, groaning.
"Y'alright?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she stared at the hero, hunched over and trying to hide himself. His head was buried between his knees as he slowly rocked back and fourth.
Licia sighed and sat down next to him, confused to why he was being a pussy about getting a broken nose when he's probably had most of his skin ripped to shreds before once or twice. She shrugged it off and carefully looked at him, he seemed to be trying to ignore her.
The pair sat in silence for a few minutes, as Licia watched him, perplexed. And he sat, sulking, "Is the guy still there?" He asked, his voice muffled by the fabric he was buried in, not bothering to look up. Licia silently pursed her lips as her eyebrows automatically furrowed. "A man. He was following you, yes?" He rephrased, still sulking.
"Oh erm-" she started as she backed out of the alleyway and scanned the suddenly clear streets, not seeing a single soul, "It's.. empty."
He sighed dramatically, "the street's tend to look clear after 5pm," Spider-Man slowly dropped his head back, "— they're not actually. They've got drunk guys and criminals hiding around street corners and in trash bags."
She nodded her head, "Well, I guess I'm going to take that potential risk of getting mugged, and just go with it! So I'll — hopefully not — see you round.. bye!" Licia flashed him her cat-like smile and hopped off the curb and onto the road, following the painted lines downtown, towards her hotel.
"Wait!" He called out as she heard a shuffling of feet and then something drop in front of her, "Let me walk you home." The girl thought for a second, charmed - she was, however she didn't want to be owing Spidey favours anytime soon, seeing as though she had just broken his nose, and almost gotten him fired from his super-hero job.
"I can get home on my own, thanks" she forced her lips into a tight smile and began to walk off.
"Seriously?" He said, jogging up to her, then spinning around to face the girl, "You're literally being stalked—"
"By you" she finished, letting out a humourless chuckle as she tried to ignore the super-spider stumbling in front of her.
He abruptly froze, standing still, "Fine." Spider-Man obeyed as the girl continued to walk away from him.
