Garcello POV:

"You got some tight bars little man!" Garcello said, smiling at boyfriend. "I should probably get going though, its getting a bit late.." Boyfriend looked a bit sad. But it was getting late, and girlfriend looked tired. "Alright, later Garcello!" Said BF. "Seeya!" Garcello replied.

Garcello began walking in the direction of his apartment. Yes, at the time Garcello didn't have the money for a house. He put on his headphones and began listening to his favorite songs, humming to the music as he walked. The cool, early spring made it feel cold outside, even though it was 65 degrees. Then, in the middle of his music starting and restarting, he heard a scream sounding like it came from a girl.

Annie POV:

Crying. Fear. Arguing. Screaming. That's basically what that night consisted of for Annie. Inside of a car..

(TW skip)  "Please.. I'm sorry.. I promise I wont do anything wrong ever again!" Annie pleaded. Her ex looked at her coldly. His arms folded firmly. "I CANT BE WITH SOMEONE LIKE YOU. YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A USELESS LITTLE BITCH WHO IS UGLY AS FUCK. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY CAR. RIGHT NOW." he said. Annie began to cry. "Ohh my god." Her ex said. "IM SORRY.. JUST PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME.. I WONT HAVE ANYWHERE TO GO-" her last words before she was violently pushed out the car.

Annie let out a scream before hitting her head on the wall and passing out. Her ex sped off quickly leaving Annie there.

3rd person POV:

Garcello began following where the scream came from. He eventually found the alleyway that Annie was passed out in. Garcello ran over to her and crouched in front of her. He tapped her shoulder and shook her a bit to wake her up. "Hey! Wake up! You shouldn't be out here by yourself.." he said.

Annie slowly woke up and opened her eyes. She was really dizzy from hitting her head so hard. "huh..?" She said. Garcello looked her in the eye. "Its not safe out here.. are you alright?" He asked her comfortingly. Annie had black mascara running down her face from crying. Her and Garcello looked at each other for a moment. Then tears began running down Annie's face again. "No.. I'm not okay.." she said. Garcello pulled her in for a hug. "Don't cry.. its going to be okay.." he said. He pulled out of the hug and said; "now tell me.. what happened?"

(TW skip) "My ex kept arguing with me at home.. he got fed up with me and.. made me get in the car and he kicked me out over here.. now i don't have anywhere to go.." Annie said. "I think i hit my head on the wall..? Or maybe it just hurts from me crying so much.." Garcello's eyes widened. He felt really bad for her. "Oh my.. i'm so sorry he treated you like that.. you were passed out.. so you probably " he said. Garcello sat next to her. "Was this just today..?" Annie looked up at the sky. "He started acting like this after i told him i was transgender.." Garcello looked pissed. "Just because you're trans?? He's a transphobic asshole! I hope one day he feels the exact same pain as you." He said looking at Annie. "You never deserved that."

"Thank you so much sir.." She said, wiping the tears off of her face. "Always." Garcello replied. "Oh! I never got your name by the way, maybe we could be friends?" He asked Annie. "My name's Annie!" She smiled at Garcello. "Well, my name's Garcello!" He replied also smiling. "You said you didn't have anywhere to stay right?" He said putting a hand on Annie's shoulder.

"Well, yeah.. my ex paid the bills at my old house so.." she replied, looking disappointed. "Wanna come stay with me for a while?" He replied. "Its a small apartment so.. its not much but it's something!" Annie looked a little nervous, but she didn't have anywhere else to go. She didn't want to become homeless but she barely knew this man.

"Sure!" She decided to stay for a bit. The two smiled at each other and Garcello began taking her to his apartment.

A few months later, Garcello were going on a short walk in the same area they met in. By now, Annie had moved into another house about a block away from Garcello, but they were planning to move into a different house together. They were just talking about random things when Garcello pointed out the alleyway.

"Hey! Isn't that the same alleyway i found you in?" He asked. The two stopped walking. "Yeahh.. it is!" Annie replied. There was a short moment of silence. "You saved me that night." Annie said. "From homelessness.. thank you so much, Garcy!" It was the first time she called him that. Garcello smiled and pulled Annie into a tight hug. She hugged him back. "No problem." He said.
