Annie woke up before Garcello as usual on a Friday morning. She had to go to work today. It was about 5 am. Annie quietly got up out of bed and began to get ready. She showered, put on her work clothes, brushed her hair, and packed herself a lunch.

After packing her lunch, she grabbed a small green sticky note and a pen. Before she left on Fridays, she writes Garcello a small note and sticks it on their bedroom door. Today, the note said; "I'm at work now Garcy, I should be back at around 3 or 4 today! Love you! :)  -Annie". Annie grabbed the note, ran over to their room and opened it quietly trying not to wake Garcello. She stuck it on the inside of the door and quietly closed it. She then grabbed her work bag and left the house, but what she didn't notice is the fact she forgot her liquid...

Garcello woke up about 40 minutes later. He saw the note on the door and got up to read it. He picked it off the door and smiled. "I love you too Annie." He thought. Garcello took the note and put it in a small stack full of other green sticky notes. He liked keeping Annie's notes because he sometimes reads them.

Garcello went into the kitchen to go make himself some food. He decided to eat a normal bowl of cereal. After he ate, he wanted to go to the local grocery store to get some food. The smoker left the house with his wallet, his pack of cigarettes, his cellphone and headphones. That pack of cigars was so addicting, the only thing that could stop him from smoking was his soon to be wife, Annie.

He plugged his headphones into the headphone jack on his phone and turned on his favorite Spotify playlist. Garcello put his phone in his jacket pocket. He then started to walk to the grocery store which just so happened to be in the same direction of Annie's workplace. The air was cool around him. That day was also pretty cloudy. Everything was chill until he heard a girl crying in an alleyway..

"Leave me alone..!" The girl said. Then a man mumbled something Garcello couldn't understand. Garcello began to worry. He ran over to the alleyway. It was Annie and a strange looking man around 22 years old. The was shorter than Garcello, but taller than Annie..

The man was about to punch Annie when Garcello grabbed him by the back of his tank top. "LEAVE HER ALONE." Garcello told the man angrily in his ear. He threw him hardly onto the ground. "Sheesh dude, what's your -hic- problem?!" The man said. Garcello ignored his question and went over to Annie, who was still crying. He pulled her into a tight, comforting hug. "Dude, what were you doing to her?! Who are you?!" Garcello asked the man angrily. "I'm her ex boyfriend." He replied. Garcello went quiet for a moment. "WHY THE HELL WERE YOU TRYING TO HURT HER MAN?!" Garcello yelled. Annie was still clung onto him shaking in fear. "Why -hic- shouldn't I?" Annie's ex replied. Clearly he was drunk. "She  -hic- was a shit girlfriend anyway." Garcello grew more angry. He sighed. "Go fuck yourself, drunkie." He said in a low voice. Annie and Garcello both left the alleyway, Garcello's hand rested in the middle of Annie's back.

The two stopped in front of an old building. Annie sat on the ground with her face hurried into her knees. Garcello crouched close to Annie. They were quiet for a moment. "What did he do to you." Garcello asked Annie. Annie looked up at Garcello. "I didn't do anything wrong.. I crossed him on my way to work and he just started threatening me." Annie said nervously. Tears were streaming down her face. Garcello sat down on the ground and got closer to her. He wiped Annie's tears a bit with the sleeve of his jacket. "It's gonna be okay Annie.. he's a fucking asshole." The smoker said. "What's that kids name?" Annie was quiet for a moment. "Jackson.. Jackson Walker.." she said. "Huh.. I don't know why I didn't ask you that the night we met." Garcello said. "It's gonna be okay Annie, I promise I'll never let him hurt you ever again." He said softly.

"It wasn't your fault though Garcy.." Annie said. "I didn't have anything to defend myself with." Garcello sighed. "I guess your right.. but if he ever tries to hurt you whenever were together, I won't let him." He replied. "Now cmon, let's go home.. I bet your tired after today." Garcello stood up and reached his hand out to help up Annie. Annie grabbed his hand and stood up. The couple began walking home while holding hands.

"I don't get it.. why does he want to hurt me out of all people..?" Annie asked. "I never ever hurt him in any way.." Garcello sighed. "I don't really know.. I remember you telling me one time that he was transphobic." He replied. Annie looked at the ground. "I wish he wasn't like that so he'd just leave me alone." She said softly. "I would've defended myself had I had my liquid." Garcello looked down at Annie. "Why didn't you bring it anyway? I thought you took it everywhere you went." He asked. Annie sighed. "I forgot it at home.." she said, looking up at Garcello.

The two of them eventually arrived home. The moment that Annie made it to the bedroom, she flopped on the bed sleepily. Garcello smiled. He grabbed Annie her favorite blanket and lightly layed it on her. Garcello took off his shoes and lied on the bed next to Annie.

"You tired?" He asked.

"Mhm.." Annie replied softly.

Garcello got closer to Annie and pulled her into a hug. Annie hugged him back. "I swear on this earth, today was the last time he will ever hurt you Annie." Garcello said quietly. Annie smiled at Garcello. "Thank you so much for saving me Garcy.. I don't know what I'd do without you.." she replied.

"I love you so much.."

"I love you too."
