(NON PLATONIC.)

Annie woke up from a loud clap of thunder. It lit up the windows like someone had flipped on a light switch and flipped it off quickly. She sat up a bit just enough so she could see out the window. It was still raining heavily out there, in fact it looked as if it was raining even heavier. Even the wind was blowing harder too. All of this made her super nervous. Annie looked over at Garcello. "How can he possibly even sleep through all this.." she wondered. She decided to try and ignore it, so she buried her face into Garcello's chest and pulled the blanket over her completely. All the commotion outside did make it hard for her to fall asleep, since the thunder kept making her more and more nervous.

A few minutes later, Garcello woke up. He looked at Annie and noticed she was awake. He gently put his hand on her back to let Annie know he was awake. The smoker yawned and said; "Morning Ann'.." even though it was 5pm. Annie looked at Garcello nervously. "Morning.." she said. "Did the storm scare ya?" Garcello asked, noticing how nervous Annie was. "Im not scared of storms Garcy!" She replied. "Im not afraid of anything involved with a storm.. thunder's just really loud and it sometimes scares me.." Garcello smiled. "That's alright." He replied. He sat up a bit causing Annie to sit up. "But it is raining super hard outside.."

The two just stared out the window for a moment. They were silent.

A strike of lightning struck the street outside causing Garcello to jump a bit. He felt Annie cling onto him, burying her face into his chest again. Garcello chuckled a bit. "So much for not being afraid of lightning!" He teased. Annie just ignored him and kept her face hidden. Garcello put his arms around her. "Hey.. it's okay to be afraid of it though!" He told Annie. "It used to give me some anxiety a few years ago, but it's not actually too scary unless you see it up close!" Annie looked up at Garcello's face. "But it was too close.." she said. Garcello smiled. "Not too close, just closer than usual." He said.

"Well, wanna watch some tv to help take your mind off of it?" Garcello asked. Annie agreed, so Garcello grabbed the remote to turn on the tv, but when he pressed the "on" button it didn't work. "Huh.. power must be out." He said. Annie sighed nervously. There was a moment of silence before Garcello got another idea. "We could.. listen to our favorite songs together! I've got wifi on my phone :)" he said. "Oh, yeah! That's a good idea!" Annie replied. Garcello smiled. "Well, before we do that," he paused. He brought Annie closer to his face and kissed her face. Annie immediately calmed down a blushed a bit. "Feel better?" Garcello asked her. Annie smiled and replied; "Yeah.."

Garcello grabbed his headphones, handed Annie one of the ends and plugged them into his phone. He turned on their favorite playlist they liked listening to together. Garcello lied on his back and let Annie rested her head on his chest. The two of them cuddled together for hours listening to the jumble of music together. Annie totally forgot about the storm now, since the music was so calming. Eventually the two dozed off to sleep..
