On Christmas night, Annie and Garcello just came in from playing in the snow. They felt quite tired after such a long day they had, being up since 5 am since Annie was so excited to open the gifts from "Santa", after all that she had to convince garcy to come play outside, eventually he gave in but he wore about 4 layers of jackets and sweatpants, and still wore gloves, a scarf and a beanie because of how bad his cold sensitivity is. They played for hours before realizing they haven't eaten breakfast. Both of them took a break to go eat before going back out to play again, and they didn't come back in until late in the afternoon.
After they took their coats off, Garcello exhaustedly plopped on the couch.
"Hey, don't fall asleep before the movie starts! I'm still making us hot cocoa!" Annie said with a smile as she was walking to the kitchen.
Garcello smiled back. "Alright." He said. Garcello grabbed the remote and flicked the tv on.
Annie grabbed her and Garcello's favorite mugs and made the hot cocoa with milk. (Keep that in mind) She picked them both up and went back to the living room where Garcello was.
"Let's let them cool off for a bit." She told Garcello, placing the cocoa on the coffee table in front of them.
Garcello yawned a little. "Thanks baby." He said.
Annie blushed and smiled a little and sat down, grabbing the weighted blanket she got Garcello for his birthday. She put it over the both of them, and rested her head on Garcello's shoulder as they watched their favorite Christmas movie together..
About halfway through the movie, Garcello got up to go get a snack from the fridge. When he opened up the fridge, he noticed that the last of the milk was gone. He stared at it for a moment.
"Annie?" He called.
Annie jerked awake because she was dozing off. "Hm..? What is it gar.."
"Did you use up the last of the milk for the cocoa?"
"Yeah.. why?
Garcello laughed a bit and peered out of the kitchen.
"You're lactose intolerant.."
"...OH SHIT-"
Legends say she never recovered from that incident.
